Is Geyser Point still considered Quick Service on the DDP? It is not clear on the Disney Website

This has to be the worse use of table sevice on dining plan right? Just checked and the kids meal is the basic $9 quick service chicken fingers.

I don't think the children's menu changes much between QS and Table Service in most of the restaurants, check a few that you are considering to confirm that. But yes, if I were doing the dining plan I'd be going to less casual places/character meals. To compare, check the childrens' menus at Sci-Fi, Via Napoli, Plaza Restaurant, Yak&Yeti, etc.

Table service
Oh, has this changed in recent years? We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge and were hoping to have a table service meal in the parks one day and then use our quick service meal that night while enjoying the pool. I had built that into the itinerary after reading an article online saying Geyser Point was unique because you can use table credit (if you sit down) or quick service (if you order at the counter and bring food over to the pool).

My husband and parents totally messed up and used sit down dining credits there a few years ago and when I went to pay for our Cinderella’s Royal table meal we were short 3 credits. I KNOW :)

Yikes! That's not a good surprise! I remember about a year ago there was another person here who swore I was wrong and the GP take out window was QS because you were not sitting down, to her credit she was nice about it. She discovered I was right. It is strange, because if you walk up and order it would seem to be QS, but since it's the same food as GP which is TS, it's a TS credit. Not a good use of a TS meal (window).
