New "Official" Frozen: 2015 Frozen Summer Fun June 17 to Sept 7!

That sure is a long dance party

And fans will pick their spot that early for fireworks that don't have a package and want pictures of the stage show.

I will not be one of them. I'm perfectly content watching the stage from a jumbotron and being back further for fireworks.

Frozen Summer Fun Planning
(Based on times for June 17th, Opening Day. Be sure to check the Times Guide on your day of visit as hours may change.)
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration:
9:30am
11:30am
12:30pm
2:30pm
3:30pm
4:30pm
5:30pm
6:30pm
7:30pm
8:30pm

(Hint: The best seating is in the middle and back. The front rows have lousy viewing, unless you want a kink in your neck. Difficult for children to get a good view in the first few rows since they are typically smaller in statue and the stage is raised.

My guess is that the package viewing will be back at least a few rows more to the middle section.)

Frozen Royal Welcome (ie. Parade/Procession)
10:30am
1:30pm

(There will be 2 stops during the parade. One stop is on Hollywood BLVD, the other at the Hyperion Theater. I expect the procession to end at Star Tours like last year, but do not have confirmation.)

Olaf's Summer Cool Down Stage Show
11:30am
12:30pm
2:30pm
3:30pm
4:30pm
5:30pm

(Since the dance party starts at 5:45 and there is a show a 5:30, I'd assume OSCD is approximately 15 minutes long.)

Coolest Summer Ever Dance Party
5:45pm to 9:30pm

(Last year there was also a live band, this year it looks like DJ Elliot will spin tunes like he is for SWW.)

Frozen Fireworks Spectacular
9:30

(I do not recommend viewing F! before fireworks. It is much easier to see the fireworks then go to F!. If you choose to view the first F!, when you exit the show, stay left. If you are lucky you will come out on a fully packed Hollywood BLVD. All the good viewing on that road will be taken, but if you cut through the stores over to Echo Lake near 50's PTC you can have good viewing of the fireworks just no music piped in. If you are not lucky, you will exit F! on Sunset BLVD, where you cannot see fireworks and the area gets bottlenecked.

The fireworks are designed for best viewing on Hollywood BLVD. That street will get very crowded, it's not good area for those who are claustrophobic or don't like crowds. It's a great area for pictures of the fireworks. @Missyrose got fabulous pictures from there posted in her TR.

If you can't see the stage, be sure you can see a jumbotron screen. The characters take the stage before and during the show.

The Frozen fireworks quickly became my favorite Disney fireworks show. The music, the characters and the fireworks themselves all work beautifully together.

Thanks Missy, going to put this quote in the first post for reference. :)

Thanks , as always, for the info Tink---!! Still have a hard time believing that "MS & S"/"Icemen" will not be performing !! Really upsetting !! We will be there on July 4th--- and were planning on another HS day on 7/7, but not that sure now --- we had a blast last year listening to the band !

Thanks for all of the info!! I've updated all of our touring plans now to reflect these times. Now just to wait and start hearing reviews!

According to the below URL, they have OFFICIALLY announced the Royal Welcome at 10:30am and 1:30pm.
Frozen Fireworks are at 9:30pm.
(For June 17)
Fantasmic is at 9pm and 10:30pm so I am not sure how leaving the first Fantasmic and going to the Frozen fireworks would work....just something to consider.

You're welcome. But it's thanks to @jonmck1234 for the heads up on the official times.

Speculation is either a private party rented the park or there will be another attempt at a Villains party or something similar.
I went to last years Villains unleashed and we did the frozen package as well. The villains event was just over sold and was pretty much a disaster. THe frozen package was money well spent. I was almost going to cancel the frozen package after the villains unleashed party last year. Glad I kept it.

Hopefully if the do it again they do it right. It had potential but just failed on so many levels.

The Frozen Package is very nice! We did it twice last year.

There is only one showing of F! Our planned DHS day - would you suggest skipping it if Frozen Fireworks are a priority? It's the last weekend do Frozen Summer Fun, but we could potentially use our "extra" day at DHS and see Fantasmic then. I was going to do a F! Dining package, but it that might interfere with Frozen Fireworka I want to adjust the ADR. Thanks for any insights!

I have a question. Is it a good place to watch the Fireworks by the old American Idol building? I just wanted to know because we may go to the sing along at 8:30 and if they move the sing along to that building we will be right there. Good plan or bad plan?

What date? What time is the fireworks and F! scheduled that day?

The singalong is definitely going to be in that building, The Hyperion Theater. The parade is going to stop there.

A) Yay! No Pre-RD show this year means no running of the bulls to get to TSMM.

B) When we went in August we exited F! via the alternative bypass, were spit on a very empty Hollywood Blvd, and just stood there and enjoyed the fireworks with no one near us. As soon as they were over we turned around and exited the park ahead of the crowd.

We don't know if there is a preshow or not.

Very nice when the exit from F! takes you out to the Mickey crossroads tower!

So if we went to the Sing-Along at 8:30 and get out of there at 9:00 do you think if we just stayed at Hyperion Theater will this be a good spot to watch the fireworks?
