*** New Official February 2013 Thread ***

Anyone know also if you have to show IDs when shopping? My biggest concern is just having to carry around anything but my camera. Also, when my last name changed they gave me a card like they do for change of address and some people seem confused by it... I am bringing my passport for the airplane but certainly don't want to carry that around!

That one I'm not sure. I never tried to charge anything but tips to my KTTW.

You created a day by day itinerary?

Not full days or anything with each thing planned out. I did park hours for each day, ADRs, phone numbers, and a list of QS/snack menus for each park. I feel like there are more things in there, but I can't think of them.

my family and I going to be at the world for a weekend get away Feb 1 Friday to Sunday 3rd going to AK and MK staying at Bay lake tower on wait list for fireworks view :)

We only take our Key to the World card and a small amount of cash into the park. The drivers license, credit cards and other valuables stay in the room safe. We charge purchases on the KTTW card. I don't think we've ever had to show any ID in the parks. They use a finger print scan to identify you as you go into the parks.

I'm trying really hard to hold off on packing the suitcase!! No reason to have a suitcase on the floor for the next 19 days!! Besides i'm sure one of my 2 hairy dogs will crawl in it to sleep!! :laundy:

Just found this thread ;). I'll be at Disney Feb 3-8th and can't wait!!!

We're staying at POR.

ADRs:

Mama Rosa's 2/4 7pm
Akersus 2/5 8pm
CRT 2/7 1:40pm
1900 park faire 2/8 8:20am

I was able to check in last week without issue but the week before that I couldn't get my reservations to link.

Man I hope the forecast is wrong for Feb 6th... Says 75% chance rain :( we were going to be at Ak the first half of the day and then DtD the rest for BBB and dinner

I hope so too...we are at AK as well and then to MK. Would prefer not to get rained on. But that is still over 3 wks away so I am sure it will change! Fingers crossed!

I also have BBB reservation and dinner at CRT. I will be monitoring closely cause I will cancel the ressie if it does look like rain cause I'm not about to waste $60 lol

Gotcha! I was just wondering. This is my 1st trip in over 15 years. I created a spreadsheet that contains all of my ADRs. The park in the columns and times (1 hr increments) for the rows. Then filled in things like EMH, BBB, parades, fireworks, etc.

Park hours are starting to change a bit folks, make sure to check your days! I'm going the 5th-9th and the 8th and 9th have evening hours extended from what I original had printed out. I don't see any updates on easyWDW yet though and the travel agent calendar does not reflect the changes either? :confused3

I agree, I don't think MK was open till midnight on Feb 3rd when I originally made my spreadsheet? That might change things....

Has anyone here ever rented a locker at Disney? We've been to Disney several times in January and know the routine.....jackets in the morning and short sleeves in the afternoon. We usually have a stroller that we use to store all our jackets and bags. There will be 10 of us this trip so if the weather is as it usually is, we won't have room under the stroller for everything. I'm thinking that maybe a locker would be good for storing our jackets once they are not needed.

Has anyone rented a locker at Disney? Was it worth it? Thanks!

I believe josh from easywdw is still on vacation so maybe that's why the hours are not updated.

im in the teen's!! :yay:

That's what I read too. I also read that if you have your receipt from one park and hop to another park on the same day, you can get a locker without having to pay again. Hoping that is the case.

Can you please provide a direct link to the updated hours? I can't see any changes to allearsnet or wdwinfo, but when I go to the Disney site (once again) it's not working right for me. TIA:thumbsup2
