*** New Official February 2013 Thread ***

Hey guys! So excited about our trip from 1-7 Feb! We had initially decided to do Disneyland again. Bought southwest tickets 8 months ago and booked the hotel, but luckily hadn't bought park tix yet. On NewYears Eve I decided to check to see what rides would be closed and stuff and I couldn't believe my eyes. The list was so long and included things that were closed LAST Feb when we went. The list included BTMR, SM, IASW, and the tea cups, plus Fantasmic still wasn't running. I actually enjoy that show at DL because its more like a water parade, and it was down last year when we went. So we decided to come explore the new FL instead of Cars Land , and I was happy to find some discounted POP days still open on the day the discount ended! Unfortunately I couldn't squeeze a whole week out but that's ok. I got the ADR's I wanted and even got DD into the pirate's league. I was so worried because we were planning so late! But that's the beauty about going in early Feb I guess. The reason we like to go then is because our school district gets out the first 3 days during the first full week in Feb every year for a teacher's conference. We'll leave after she gets out on the 1st and she'll just miss a day of school, yey! So anyways I just wanted to do the happy dance now that we're all paid up and planned. We'll be in MK on Monday and Epcot Sunday if anyone's around! Now I just have to hope FP+ doesn't come into play until AFTER our trip. I'm not opposed to it's a rule, just don't want to be a guinea pig! Lol

:cool1: :cool1:   :yay: :yay:

Fellow arrival of Feb 1 friends.. Have you seen the extended weather forecast for Feb 1and 2? I I know it's a long shot but still something to look forward too.. The weather forecast says SUNNY and 76!!

Does anybody else have headaches from reading and always thinking about Disney?? :)

I'm having neck pains because my laptop died and my desktop is at a terrible angle. I need a new laptop but the only after my trip.

Has anyone ever been the last week of Feb.? The crowd levels don't look bad, but I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this week?

We were there last week of February / first week of March last year. Overall, the crowds were quiet to moderate - nothing unmanageable apart from the late night crowds on feb 29th for one more Disney day - that was crazy. After that, it was a delight. Its those crowds that are the reason we are going back the same time this year. Just 42 days to go...6 weeks today I'll be landing at MCO and taking the express to WL. Can it hurry up please?

Hi...we are going the exact same time 1/31-2/10 at AKL:KV. Cool...21 more days! Where are you leaving from?

Matynurse, where in Central PA are you from, and when are you doing to WDW? We live in Mechanicsburg, and we're driving straight to Florida on Feb. 7, staying through the 16th.

Right outside State College....WE ARE :cheer2:

We are flying out of Reagan on the 23rd
