*** New Official February 2013 Thread ***

I have my own go-to list. I recommend packing clothing you can layer so that you can easily add or subtract. I personally never wear shorts, just pants and skirt/dresses. So I will be packing all pants and then tshirts+jackets+sweaters. I have been looking at the weather.com's predictions for temperatures in February. Right now they predict low 70s which seems fine to me!

Next month! :cool1:

I can't believe we'll be packing in a couple of weeks!

I was wondering when i should expect to receive Mickey mail. We'Re going on the 6th and haven't received anything yet from pop or magic express. :(

I think my oldest daughter its on to me..she said i was looking at to many Disney things! I plan to surprise then the day before we leave but at this rate, she won't be surprised lol....they're always around.

I want to hear how that one plays out-she must be smart!

I got our Mickey Mail yesterday. We are down to 30 days now. I have seen a lot of post from people who get there mail at 31-33 days out. :)

Have you stayed there before? that's on my list of choices.

Worked extra hours today to make up for losing hrs yesterday. Another snowstorm this week, too! I love it but I don't like driving in it!
Must count the days til my trip, otherwise I'm guessing 48.:worried:

No, never been there before, but my brother and his family stayed there last year and his kids enjoyed it. So we are going and meeting them there next month.

Got my Mickey mail yesterday! Now to get busy cleaning and packing ! Am i the only strange one who thinks the house must be spotless before i leave? Lol I just can't stand to come home to a messy house :rotfl:
My family thinks I'm nuts because I won't go on vacation until the house is spotless. I'm glad I'm not the only one:thumbsup2
Nothing better than coming home to a clean house. Not to mention my parents and neighbors check on the house and I wouldn't want them to come in if it wasn't clean.

We are married couple, I'm 50, he is 59, no kids so we have more flexibility. We are both good walkers. When I went in 88 I was solo, was going to join up with brother and niece but they canceled. I flew in from Wisconsin in early Feb with a backpack, tent and sleeping bag and set up at fort wilderness campground. The cast members seemed a bit amazed but everyone was very nice. Had a five day stay and four day ticket, 2 at epcot and 2 at magic kingdom. Last day I went canoeing and visited discovery island. It only rained a little during my stay. This was before AK and HS were open. Had a blast, got to ride everything as many times as I wanted and felt quite safe at the campground by myself. Even got to eat at marrakesh and coral reef. Also ate a lot of granola bars. Would do it again if I go back by myself sometime.

I'll decide on plane tickets once I see what all this overtime amounts to after taxes. 4:20 is when later flight gets in, would probably get to epcot by 7 or 7:30, enough time to do a couple low line rides, eat and watch illuminations.
Wow i was not on for a few days and, Wow so many pages o go through, whew!
How many WDW goers set to arrive Feb 1-7 and where are you staying? Where are you traveling from?

Me- arrive Feb 1, POP, New Orleans, LA

Our trip is Feb 1-11, we are staying off-site in a home. Oh and we are traveling from Texas

What is the one thing you are most looking forward to?

If I have to choose just one, it's breakfast at Tusker House. How about you guys?
Tusker house breakfast is my favorite!! But I am so excited to ride Test Track! It will be my first time. It was closed when we went in May

My husband and I are staying at Bay Lake Tower for the first time in a Theme park View Room! We will be celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary. This will also mark our 14th trip since we got engaged there in 2009 during the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular standing right in front in Cinderella castle!

We are going to be eating a Biergarten because it is the first place we ate as an engaged couple. We haven't decided on any other restaurants yet.....we want to go somewhere we haven't been. (We have eaten at.....Cinderella's Royal Table, The Crystal Palace, The Plaza Restaurant, Tony's Town Square, Be Our Guest, Tusker House, Hollywood and Vine, 50's Prime Time Cafe, The Brown Derby, Mama Melrose, Askerhaus, Biergarten, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, 1900 Park Fare, The Grand Floridian Cafe, Ohana, Kona Cafe, California Grill, Captain's Grille, Beaches N Cream, and Paradiso 37) Any suggestions on good places??????

Thanks!
LuLu
