Late to the party as well but we just booked our trip for Feb. 22- Mar 2. Super excited because we missed Disney this year due to me being pregnant. Plus I am hoping since we go early in 2013 I may be able to convince DH to take a Christmas trip as well!

We are trying to do this as well! Possibly combined with a 4 day cruise in December!!

Oh my took a peek at your PTR, whew made me dizzy just thinking about it. Hubby and I ent to Disney for the first time in 2002. Now we are going back with the grand kids in February. I guess it will be a different experience with kids. I think I am up for it.

I started my first PTR but I am no good at these things so I am not feeling positive I am doing a good job at it.

My dh and I just got back from a relaxing, 3 night trip. We only went on 3 rides the WHOLE TRIP! It was great, but this will be a total turn around as my daughter LOVES the rides and cannot get enough. I'm thinking since it's just the two of us, we'll do pretty good! The rst of the family is what usually slows us down.

Not possible! You can't mess these things up! I post about all sorts of things in my PTR once the planning stuff is out of the way. It doesn't even have to be Disney related! I'm off to check yours out! Hmmmm...the link isn't working. I'll try to go find it on the pre-TR board!

Ha,Thanks. Although I am really good at messing stuff up. (as you can see from how I messed up a simple quote) I didnt realize my link wasn't working I am trying to fix it now.

I have one started. Still getting the hang of writing one since I'm so used to fanfiction-type narratives. It's linked in the signature after the 'cast of characters' if you'd like to exchange reading each other's PTRs.

Oh, I love yours! I keep getting jealous of everyone who has all of these great pictures because my parents are sticklers about not having pics of themselves on the internet so it's hard to find ones I could possibly use. It doesn't seem like a real PTR without pictures.

I've never written a PTR but have managed to write a few trip reports. I never seem to be able to make the time while still planning and tweaking our trip. Right now I'm busy getting ready to host Thanksgiving dinner for our 2 grown kids and our 4 grandchildren while also getting some Christmas cookies baked! I'll be having some minor orthopedic surgery on my left hand Nov. 27th and unable to use that hand fully until 3 weeks before our FL trip.

FINALLY in double digits!! This seems to have taken forever!! At least with the holidays coming I SHOULD be distracted and by the time I have time to myself again, the trip will be even closer.

I am getting so jealous of some of the people going there for Christmas this year. But it does keep me motivated to try and go during the holidays NEXT year.

Going to Pop 6-12 and this is our first time with children...They're two princesses ages 3 & 5 and it's a surprise for them...

This thread is pretty long and I haven't read through them...this is my first "planned" trip since the first time around we only did two casual days which were actually pretty good...I rode RRC 3 times back to back!

Is there a link for itineraries, either yours or suggested ones? Does DISboards have a crowd calendar? If not, which one is suggested?

Me too!!! I desperately want to go for the holidays and almost did this year. We ended up changing our minds though because February was less crowded, less expensive and it just made more sense.
I am seriously thinking of planning a Christmas break trip next year because apparently I am crazy
I would have a whole year to get things the day they opened up (like ADR's and Candlelight processional etc). It would also be a surprise for the kids. I'd love to have them find out on Christmas morning that they were leaving the next day! Or maybe we'd go in early December. That's so hard with the kids in school though.

As it stands though I am very excited for this February trip!
