new non professional here

Hello all . I am new to here I am by far not a professional but I love taking pictures, mostly of my kiddos. I recently got a Nicon Coolpix s560 . I love it ! Hubby is talking about trying to save up for a more professional camera now.. Just wanted to pop in and say hi... Is it all pros here or are there amatures here too ?

We really do not have many professionals on here. There are a few, but most of us are amateurs.

I am new to the Disboards also, and a total beginner with my camera... i have recently taken up the hobby, and bought a Nikon D60 to start out with... I am still trying to figure out what settings are better to change for what situation, but am getting better... I love the idea of having this photography board out here to help with my schooling... I will be posting many quesitons here, so hopefully I can get a little help when needed...

beginner here too. I just got a Pentax k100d (thanks to a closing wolf camera) I've found this board to be a great help, and everyone is so friendly. (even though I'm more of a lurker)
