New Newbie Question

This will be our first, maybe, trip since 2010 - so LOTS has changed and I want to ensure I know what I’m doing.

My niece might be dancing at Disney in April 2022. If she goes, we will know in September, my DH and I will be going. I will also take my parents, both in their late 70’s, with us to ensure they see their granddaughter. My sister would travel with the dance team.

My questions is on the tickets and pre-booking the parks. We will stay at the SOG and purchase our tickets either through them or at our local base.

When setting everything up once all is booked and I have tickets in hand, should I create an account for me and my DH and then make a separate account for my parents? Or should I just add them to my account? They may not want to do everything we do. I don’t think my parents will be able to create an account and manage all of their bookings on a cell phone/laptop - I will be doing it for them. So I don’t know if it’ll be easier for me to just add them to my account, or create their own account (I will do it for them).

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Don't create a separate MDE account for them. Just add them as a part of your account. It'll be much simpler for you that way. Just because they are part of your account, does not mean they have to do everything you and your husband do. For example, you can book an ADR for just 2 and then select who will be attending.

I do suggest you get magic bands for your parents (even though they're no longer free) and have them use them for park entry and FP. It's much more convenient than using a key card, and less prone to being misplaced.

I agree - just add them to your F&F list and buy MBs for them.
