New Nemo Ride

I really want to see the new Nemo ride. We'll be at Disneyland in early December (sunday and monday) - wondering about the lines for this ride. Should we run over right after the park opens? Is the line super long all day? Is it still really long at park closing? What would be the best strategy to see it with the shortest wait?

From anyone who has been on it - does it feel claustrophobic inside? Like the old subs? Or is it more open?

thanks

I think the subs are the same as they used to be, just new colors and maybe new cushions. :)

When I got in, I could feel that a person with more claustrophobia than I could have a problem, and, in fact, on my second time through we had to let a woman out who had just realized her limitations. There was no way she was going to make it through the whole thing...she hadn't even sat down when she had to leave. So it CAN trigger some issues.

As for lines, I don't know b/c I haven't been there this month! When we went a month ago, one EE morning we did Nemo and were done in a half hour. The second time I went it was the late afternoon, the line sign indicated it was going to be a 60 minute wait, but it was a fast 40 minutes.

Monday will be much less crowded than Sunday, so try it either in the late late evening on Sunday or late in the evening on Monday. Don't use your Early entry because you only have 2 days to see everything. Use your Early entry for Fantasyland.

We rode Nemo in July, we got in line at 11:30 and the line was just over at an hour. Something to keep in mind.

I was there the week before last. I got in line at five minutes after park opening on an early entry day, and I had a 45 minute wait. I never say the line less than 90 minutes the entire time I was there. It seemed to get long early and stay long all day.

We got in line for Nemo on a Tuesday evening at about 6:00 PM and waited almost an hour. The line was 2 hours right after opening.

Thank you everyone for your input. I think we'll just see what happens. Maybe try to do it Monday. If its still a claustrophobic sub I really dont want to go on it. It is one thing that really sticks out in my mind from the old subs - feeling like I couldn't wait to get off. I hated the feeling of that ride.

We went last week and had about an hour wait early in the afternoon. We walked past it first thing most mornings and the line was LONG, I think most people tried to go to it first. I think they're the same subs though, so you might want to skip it or do the alternate viewing experience.

We just rode it on Friday. We fast walked to get there first thing. We were probably one of the first subs out that day. We had tried to ride it on Thurs. but the line was long all day long. Even at night. Thurs. was early entry and we didn't have those priveledges. It is worth getting to first thing in the morning. It is a neat ride.:cool1:

It's the same subs as before - just spruced up. The size inside will be the same as you remember. Sorry.
