When we moved into our house 8 years ago, our neighbors brought over a peach cobbler.
I thought that was very nice of them and not expected.
Those neighbors moved out last week and new neighbors should be moving in any day now. I'm guessing this weekend.
I'd like to get them a welcome gift, but I don't really cook or bake.
Any suggestions? Would flowers or a plant be OK?
I believe it is a family with 2 young girls and a baby due any day now.
ETA: They are not new to the neighborhood. They are just moving into a bigger home and are from the same town.
