When I first heard about the Disney Rewards Visa discount, I called my AAA TA to ask her to see if it would save me any money. She didn't call me back so I finally called her - she said I could only use one discount, either AAA or the Visa and that I would save more by using AAA. After I found out that there was a new code for everyone to use, I called Disney myself to see what kind of price I could get. I ended up making my own reservation for the same dates the TA booked and saving $300 for a seven night stay at the WL. I did not change anything about my trip.
I will be contacting the AAA agent to cancel my reservation through her. I don't feel like I got the best service from her so I don't feel too guilty and I have saved $300!

So happy everybody is saving some money! Bellefan I never even thought of calling and trying to get a new ressie myself, I was just so miffed that I couldn't understand how the code worked and my TA is on vacation so I got very to the point emails regarding it all. I mean I'm sure she was bombarded.

Good for you Bellefan that you thought a little further and realised that you could actually rebook it yourself, and save! I don't really need a TA at this point but feel that emailing mine and saying lets book another trip is more a part of the whole experience. Sort of like a little Disney tradition for us. At the same time the loss of total control feels a bit wierd since I am such a control nut about everything else regarding our trip!

We called last night to inquire and were told we could get a credit on our 8 night Pop stay. I asked about upgrading instead and ended up with 8 nights @ CBR king room for the same money. Going Oct 14-22.

We were excited about Pop. Now we are really excited about CBR.
