***NEW MyMagic & FastPass+ Official Information & FAQ Thread***

My friend said a travel agent told her no FP+ for two hours after a scheduled ADR :upsidedow. I have a couple of ADR's I know won't take three hours - the ADR + 2 hours + 1 hour return time. Has this been happening to anybody?

Yes this happens. If you are feeling brave cancel your ADR, make your FP+ and then get your ADR again. I had to do this for 2 separate reservations and it worked for both.

Yuck.

ADRs are CC guaranteed now. You are limited to 3 FP selections. They need to treat people like adults and let them make the choices they want and live with the consequences.

Unfortunately, not enough people acted like adults. :(

I've read reports on other threads in which people posted that they didn't have any requirements to book around a certain window from their ADRs. :confused3 It's also posted that way on the FP Priority thread.

I'm hoping someone will know the answer to this.

We already have MBs from a November trip.

We all have APs and they're linked in MDE.

We have a trip scheduled for mid-March and I have until mid-February to customize the MBs.

There is a 50/50 chance that I will have to cancel that March trip (not devastating as we're going in June), but I won't know until the end of February or early March (after the MBs are customized and probably already received).

The question is:

If I wind up having to cancel our room-only March reservation, will the MBs we received for that trip still be active? Or will Disney automatically deactivate those bands since we cancelled the reservation they were associated with?

New to the forum but here's my situation. We're staying off-site in March but have 8:15a Royal Table reservations on a day MK opens at 9am. Does anyone know if the FP+ kiosks will be available before our breakfast? This would obviously give us a jump on the crowds after RD.

At some future date, all Guests will be able to make FP+ selections in advance on the MDE app or website. Whether that will include off-site guests with day passes by June is impossible to say. I think it's pretty likely it will include AP holders, since testing for a limited number of randomly selected non-resort guest AP holders is starting over the next few weeks.

Thanks, I sure hope it's true by June. Some days not all of us will want to ride the first ride or two after rope drop so that person can wait in a FP+ line. But on other days we'll have to take time out of riding first thing to wait in line. Which is just stupid.

Just got back, had 8 days with the dining plan. It never would let me get a FP within 2 hours after an ADR, breakfast lunch or dinner. Maybe some don't link adr's through MDE?

I'll be adding some new info on APs in a bit and just running through and updating some stuff.

Ugh...that's what I was afraid of. Thanks for reporting! I had only heard the contrary. Luckily, most of our ADRs are breakfast ones and we plan on using our FP+ in the evenings.

Yay! I'm worried about mine. I have an AP voucher and its linked in MDX, so I'm hoping I'll be able to make FP+ reservations in advance of our trip!

All of the folks I'm talking about had their ADRs in MDE. So it seems to be inconsistent, that's what I was trying to convey. I haven't done my FPs reservations yet. If I have trouble due to ADR conflicts, I think I will disconnect my ADRs from MDE (which I was told you can do by calling and changing the phone number so it's different than your MDE phone number. I will look into that more if I need to do it). After making FPs, you can add your ADRs back into MDE.

But again, I'm only reporting what others who have done a lot of messing around with MDE already have told me.

Do as I do, and I am sure many others, have two email addresses then you can make ADR's as close to each other as possible or change times without giving up one first. I may not ever tie my ADR's to Magic bands. Just keep print it off and carry it with you. Trying to keep up with everything by iPhone will not work for everyone anyway. (Dead battery or not having one.)

Im thinking about purchasing annual pass. I'll get a voucher to redeem, is there a way to assign voucher to my MB so I can take advantage of FP+ ?:confused3

I am in the same situation! I have been able to link my voucher in MDX, but I'm also wondering about FP+. Hopefully someone can help us. Otherwise, it might be time for a little quickie weekend trip prior to our big summer trip so I can activate my AP ;)

Yes,

I was able to connect my AP voucher to my MB... however, I had to call the IT folks to do it. Fastest way to get to who you need to is to call (407) 939-5277, say "My Disney Experience" when prompted to say why you are calling, and in the next menu push "2" for "I am on My Disney Experience and having trouble." - That gets you right to IT.

I have now had to do this 3 times (once for my AP, once for my husbands, which was ordered later, and once for my in-laws tickets which are Florida resident 3-day tickets). None of them worked linking online. You can try online first, by putting in your voucher #, but that didn't work for me. Each time took my about 20-30 minutes on the phone, but now I can make FP+ for everyone, which is what I wanted.

Good luck!
