Ive always wandered what kinda music do Disney fans listen to (other than Disney music). What Bands has everyone been into lately? For me its been the new Foo Fighters CD and The Amity Affliction. Love to hear everyone's answers

I like the new Foo Fighters cd too, I think it's their best in years.

I've also been listening to the new Goo Goo Dolls cd a lot "Something for the Rest of Us". The Goos are one of my favorite bands, and it's interesting to see how as they've aged and matured, so have their music and lyrics.

Other current bands that I like are Kings of Leon, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, who are currently in the studio working on a new album.

Otherwise, I must admit, I find myself listening to rock from the 90s, 70s and 60s.

Before the age of itunes..I use to go to the cd store (virgin records in union square in particular) and just buy cds of new bands and I would listen to the entire album and really get the feel for whether I liked them or not. Now with itunes it's way to easy to just buy the hit songs, I know I am def missing out on some great music out there. Just because a song isnt 'popular" on itunes doesnt mean its not a good tune..so im subscribing to maybe hear about some bands or songs I never would have learned about otherwise.

I mostly listen to my iPod which has gotten a face lift in the fast few years. Music that I did not think that I would like or listen to has been added to my list of favs. A few of my past & current favs are: Fall Out Boy, New Found Glory, Coheed & Cambria and Eve6. Music that surprisingly made it to my iPod: Killswitch Engage, Breaking Benjamin, Apocalyptica, Bullet for my Valentine, Five Finger Death Punch. The list goes on and on. Pop music, for me are sporadic phases.

I like Five Finger Death Punch & Killswitch Engage. Also like Sevendust, Nonpoint, & Shinedown. Actually I should say love Sevendust.(Favorite Band) Plus they are great guys and a couple of them live in Orlando.

Foo Fighters are the greatest rock band in existence, besides obvious giants like AC/DC and Rush. The Damnwells are another one of my favorites. I wouldn't be a good starving musician if I didn't tell everyone to get on iTunes and check out megaphone too.

I am eagerly waiting the release of the new Sixx A.M. album next week. Can't wait to hear the whole thing. The lead song - Lies of the Beautiful People - is awesome!

Other than that, right now I've been listening to the new Adelle CD. Haven't bought a lot of new music lately.

Count me in as another Foo Fighters fan!!! I have playing the HECK out of their new cd!!!

Lately, I've also bought Mumford and Sons and Bruno Mars, and have been listening to them as well!!! I really like them both, they have such a unique sound that I think really sets them apart from a lot of the musical talent out there right now.

One of my goals this year was to discover some new music since I've been listening to the same music from the 90s for about 15 years (need to branch out from 90s on 9 on XM). So I'm very interested to know what's good. I think people tend to always love what they listened to when they were teenagers. I do really like Adele, I think I'll get her new album.

At the moment , I have an Adele addiction , her voice astounds me.
Other than that , my ipod is a huge melting pot of music. My taste is all over the place ie: Elton John , Daughtry , Matchbox 20 , Train , Mariah Carey etc..

Hi Max,
I'm afraid you would by horrified by my choice in music. I prefer the rock classics.

  • Just about anything by Eric Clapton. Try the Cream Royal Albert Hall double CD for some of his best work.
  • Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Love just about all their work - the Daylight Again CD is great.
  • Hendrix. Go ahead and call me an aging hippie, but his version of the Star Spangled Banner is a classic.
  • Santana. Another guitar great. I'm starting to see a trend here.
  • Allman Brothers. Just to stick with the trend.

Go ahead and scream. :3dglasses

As far as newer bands I would say ... Mumford & Sons, and Adele. But you can never go wrong with Dave Matthews.

My taste in music is all over the place. Sir Elton John, Disney, Iron and Wine, Coldplay, Nirvana, Cinderella, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Madonna, George Michael, The Beatles, Sir Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Sean Lennon, Julian Lennon (notice a trend), Enya, Hawaiian, Lifescapes CDs, Bach, Beethoven, Wagner, Chopin, gospel, George Strait are among the artists and genres on my iPod. I am currently addicted to a James Bond CD that I just bought. It has every single theme song from Dr. No to Casino Royale. It's a must have CD for 007 fans.

Love the new Mumford and Sons record. Just amazing talent.

Adele is a gift from Heaven.

Cant stop listening to Arcade Fire.
