Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that the new Damien Rice CD came out today. It's titled 9. I just downloaded it from itunes and it sounds great. I thought if there were any fans on the Dis boards, you'd like to know the CD was out, since it's been about 4 years since the last one.
If you don't know who Damien Rice is, he's an Irish folk singer. He sings with this girl (her name escapes me) that has a hauntingly beautiful voice. The music itself is a little depressing, there are a lot of string instruments. The lyrics are mostly sad and a little dirty.
If you like Radiohead, Counting Crows, Ani Difranco, Tori Amos, I would say you'd probably like Damien Rice.
