New mugs

We were told by our Guide and anyone else that we asked that this was the rule - only good for your length of stay at the resort where you were staying. We had mugs from our previous stay, but bought new ones because we did not feel that it was right or fair to others to break the rule if it was in place.

This is the rule, but the YOAMD mugs had different language on the side that they could be used at the Resort Beverage Islands during your stay so some people interpreted it as they could use the mugs at other resorts as well.

OK, back on topic. Don't want to stir up controversy.

Hopefully they switch over at all of the resorts soon so people don't feel left out if they have to buy the old mugs. It did look like BW and BC might have been nearing the end of their inventory - they both only had the old ones with silver tops/handles. Contemporary still had the old mugs with all 3 different color tops/handles.

Now, I'm considering getting the quick service dining plan for a 1 night stay in June (BCV), just to get the mug! We can get the quick service, can't we? Do you get a mug with the regular plan?

DVC members can purchase the Quick Service plan.

-- 2 Quick Service Meals - One Entree OR one complete Combo meal; dessert (lunch/dinner) or One juice (breakfast); One single non-alcoholic beverage

-- One refillable drink mug per person

-- 2 Snacks, for example, frozen ice-cream novelty; Box of popcorn; single piece of whole fruit; medium fountain soft drink

The addition of the Quick Service Dining Plan to a Magic Your Way Vacation Package costs (prices subject to change):

--$29.99 per adult (age 10 and up) per night of stay
--$8.99 per child 3-9 per night of stay

Thanks, I sent MS an e-mail adding it onto that reservation! I like the salads that they make at the BC Marketplace, and the desserts there are excellent!

You know, Disney makes the best salads!

I actually didn't realize you got a mug with the QDP. It would be noce to add it for one day (if possible) just to get the mugs and the credits.

There was only one day in a BCV studio available for this trip, then I'm heading to AKV for 3 nights. I think that it's a good deal in this case, for sure.

I love the salads at Roaring Forks.

We were at BCV last week and mid week the new mugs were out. I was so excited so I bought 3, one in each color. the very next day--THE OLD MUGS WERE PUT BACK OUT AND THE NEW ONES GONE!! I think someone put them out too soon!

Can't wait to get our new mugs to add to our collection! They are great to use as travel mugs! I use it in the morning taking my daughter to school so I don't miss being there so much!
