New mugs sold at Port Orleans last weekend

Haven't seen a thread and in the past there were a lot of questions about when there would be new mugs. They are printed with a pool scene with the characters, and a generic Disney Parks logo with the slogan "Let the memories begin."

I don't like them either. We rarely swim in Disney...I just don't think they represent a Disney vacation. I'd rather see something more iconic for the "memories" theme...the castle...attractions...etc. They're a better fit for the waterparks.

we have twenty or more in our basement .....and four or so up here.....SO these are cute in my estimation.....and different from what we have already.

I have some from the Dolphin, Port Orleans, All Stars and resort generic.....and Our Dixie Landings one were melted in a fire..

LOL, they are pretty day-glo. My kids will surely like them, especially my DD. She's going through a ppp phase right now (pink, purple, princess), and that is one pink handle.

I almost wish they would offer a special mug that can be used forever (of course it will cost much more than the others). Then I wouldn't have to have a pile of them.

Then at other times I like the new mugs and if I had one that could be used over and over again, I'd want to buy the new one.

It's just me at my house. What does a family of 3 or more do with them all? I can't throw them out or give them away. I must have 5 or more, including water park ones.

I think that the children who love the "mickey Mouse Clubhouse" show will love these mugs!!
I'm not sure if I will be anxious to bring my daily mug of tea to work with me in one of these.....

How often do they change these?

Glad to hear the new mugs are now available at Port Orleans! We will stay at the POR and look forward to getting these mugs! I think they're cute, but since they are our very first mugs, we have nothing to compare them to.

Who knew a plastic mug would garner so much attention. We truly need help with our Obcession with all things Disney.

I like the design! We do a lot of pool time at Disney, so this is a good fit for us. Pink handles are fun, too!

I understand that making generic mugs rather than resort specific mugs is more cost effective, though I wish we had the choice between the old 'chunky' style mug and the travel mugs. I like the old style better.

It would also be nice if there were four, rather than three, choices in handle color. Many families of four travel to WDW and most rooms are marketed to sleep four.

Can't wait to get our mugs!
