New mugs: BCV to VB

We plan on purchasing the length of stay mugs at the BC. We are moving from BC to VB, both stays through DVC. I've heard that VB has the rfid drink dispensers now. Does anyone know, will my mug still be valid at VB?

I would take your receipt and see if the CM will give you credit.

We were there in February and went from AKL to BWV. We had no problem with our cups. Just told them when I purchased them how long we were going to be at both resorts.
