New Moon: The Movie

I think it'll suck. To be honest, the trailor looks super lame and awkward. I really am expecting it to fail, like Twilight.

I liked the books, but now I just can't stand the thought of them because of all the obsessive fans. It's popularity is way crazy.

I think a lot of the people who read the series before all the craziness, is actually completely turned off by them now. I know me and my friends are.

this is exactly how I'm feeling now! I used to think they were pretty good books, until everyone started the hype about them. Now, it's just like, "Twilight. Eh." I wish they could just be regular books again; it seems more...I don't know, special for the person reading the book if the books aren't all hyped about, I guess you could say.

I avoided reading the books as long as I could, I was uninterested in the story line and laughed at the lines and passages I'd read online.

But, of course, the *lovely* feeling of exclusion came over me, so I read the first two books in about 11 hrs total. (There's barely any words on the pages, so it's not as weird as it sounds). After getting my taste of Meyer's style, it soon began to feel like Beverly soda for my mind. Thus, I physically cannot read the latter two books without being frustrated. (but I knew what happens in the series before I even read them).

Anywho, I've explained myself before, and this is about the movie. I'll be watching this movie for two reasons: curiosity and Jamie.

Hopefully it will be better than the laughable Twilight movie. But, because it stars Kristen Stewart, probably not ;)

I'm also watching New Moon out of curiosity [I don't know about Jamie; I'll have to figure that out], but I hope it won't suck like Twilight royally did. I have never seen anything more..."cheesy" I guess you could say. Or maybe "corny" fits it better.
But yeah, hoping it will be better. And *sigh* MUST Kirsten Stewart ruin this for us??? Jkjk.
Something about her is just so...emotionless in all the wrong scenes. Its so saddening to see a movie go bad like that. :/ *siiiiigh*

omg!!!!! i cant wait either jasper is soooooo goergous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have read all the books and i am in LOVEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so so excited! The trailer blew me away, and Edward is YUMMY as usual ;)

I have to admit that this one was my LEAST favorite of the series, but the movie looks absolutley incredible. That scene where Bella is drowning and Edward floats next to her was MARVELOUS!

I am so ready for it to be November :)

I was just watching The O.C. reruns the other day, and I noticed that James, Jasper, and Rosalie (the actors, I forgot their names) are both in the same episode of that show. Kind of funny.

Anyway, like other people said, the only reason that I will watch New Moon (when it released on DVD) is curiousity. It's like a car wreck on the highway that I can't look away from. I have to see the horror. Mostly hoping it will provide me with giggles.

You are awesome! I love that you speak your mind even when you are faced with people who are crazy in love with the series. You go girl :)

Anyways, I couldn't believe how wicked awesome Jane looked in the trailer. Wasn't expecting that one!

I agree. :]

Even though I thought Twilight sucked, I do want to see New Moon.
Michael Sheen is in it. :D
He's one of my favourite actors. :goodvibes
