New mini-ipods. Anyone have one??

I am leaning towards asking for one of these for my birthday. I was wondering if anyone has one and willing to share what they think of them. I would use it for working out and in my car. I don't have a CD player so I would get the FM adapter to have it come right through the stereo,

I know that at 4gb it is much smaller than other versions out there - but believe me 800-1000 songs is plenty.

I want a pink one too!! Just waiting for places to get them in...they are so hard to find! Even if you order directly through Apple it's a 3-5 week wait.

I've had a blue ipod mini for about a month. I downloaded all of my favorite songs from my entire CD collection and I'm only at about 250 songs. I love the size of the mini, it so easy to just slip in my pocket when I go on a walk. I haven't used to FM adapter yet, but I did buy it. I would highly reccomend you get one. It's one of the best toys I've ever bought!

We have an Apple store in the mall I work at. They have them sitting in the window in all their glory. My birthday is in June. *hmmmmm*

DH desperately wants to build me a new computer which I do need but I would love an iPod too. I really think he is building the computer for himself anyway.

The ipod mini is better than anything else on the market, but for $50 more why not get the full size? The mini is almost too small, too easy to drop or lose. The full size is still pretty small and hold a ton more. Also we use the FM thingie and it works great in a car!

I'm just thinking of how many outfits I can match to my pink iPod, lol.

Even if I wasn't thinking that way, the thing is adoreable. It's just like candy, so cute. Whoever thought of those colors was brilliant.

You might want to be careful before buying an iPod. I remember reading something on macintough or macfixit about some issues they were having with static in the headphones. That was supposedly the cause of the shipping delays. They were holding production to get the issue fixed.

I don't think my mini is to small. I love the size. In fact it is much slimmer than the full sized one. While it is true that a mere $50 would have increased my storage by 10x, this purchase was already a splurge, so I just didn't see the need.

I love my full size iPod. I just got some covers for it in pink, pastel blue, and, dare I say, lime green. I don't think I'll ever fill it though!
