Rumors from Disney-MGM Studios: we're hearing that there has been some clearing of trees behind Al's Toy Barn, which would be the first step towards construction of a new attraction that is supposed to open in 2008. There is a great deal of space back there, rumors have been of some sort of dark ride, with a Pixar theme, and that the Toy Barn façade would stay as the entrance.

Are the Incredibles popular enough to warrant or an attraction? Would a dark ride like the one on Roger Rabbit in DL be a good fit?

i know buzz lightyear has his own ride, but this could be another toy story ride, there were plans for a third movie, it was scraped, but if it ever is realeased then toy story will be over like a 10 or 15 year span so that means a lot of kids will have seen it and be able to identify with it

I'd like to see a spiderman type ride from universal with incredibles battle at the movie end. :thumbsup2

Perhaps a clone of Monsters, Inc. from California?

Although a Toy Story ride would make sense if they keep the Toy Barn facade.

RUMOR: Al's Barnyard facade is staying and will be the basis of the queue.. The ride will be similar to the proppsed and ucoming new ride in DCA Midway Madness.. of course, this will not be the name of the ride in MGM.... But, will be similar.. Yes.. It will be Toy Story themed and be similar to Buzz in MK...

do you mean the Mulholland Madness coaster at DCA?
Midway Madness is a proposed new indoor interactive dark ride to be built at DCA on Paradise Pier and possibly the Disney-MGM Studios also.

What is the "Story" behind this alleged "Mulholland Madness" attraction ??

Mulholland Madness isn't "alleged." It's already there.

Now, Midway Madness I don't know anything about.

Peter already stated what Midway Madness was:

Midway Madness is a proposed new indoor interactive dark ride to be built at DCA on Paradise Pier and possibly the Disney-MGM Studios also.

But it is just rumored to be going to MGM, not a sure bet.. at least, not yet.

What you need to do is F'n RELAX!!!!

I simply asked if anyone knew what the "Story" was..This is a discussion forum last time I checked.

Do I need to remind you all to be nice? (apparently I do...) Consider this a warning - If you can't be civil, I'll close the thread.
