New Menus?

How often do the menus change in the main dining rooms? We just finished on the Dream and for the most part the menus were the same as our previous cruise.

Rarely if ever. DCL has set orders with suppliers get economies of scale and their chefs are trained on set meals. So the changes are minimal, it can occur, a certain food is more expensive or has less availability.

Longer cruises have additional menus if your looking for different things to try that's an idea.

Did Enchanted Garden still offer the Prime Rib? I've seen it on some menus, but not others. Thanks!

we have just got home from the 15night EBTA and had a couple of additional menu's to fill the night but the rest were not changed since our 1st cruise in 2010. They could really do to change a few things up in my opinion.

Its economies of scale using the same types of food week in week out form the same suppliers, it keeps costs down and the kitchen staff are trained on it, any changes can throw a spanner in the works and also slow service, as the servers know the menus and will increase cost, the only main change has been Cariocas on the Magic.

One reason I'm not as eager to keep doing the same cruises over & over.

Just got off the Fantasy last week and Enchanted Garden and Royal Table had new menu items. I do not remember any changes to Animators Palate.

A complete change in menu? Very rare. Changing a couple of items on a menu, I've seen that happen from one year to the next. I imagine that items that are not well received or are rarely ordered are the ones getting changed and that's what makes it appear that the menu doesn't really change.
