New Menus????

I think I will make ressies at Palo every night. Is that allowed?

Once you board you can request to dine there more than once, it can happen. I have friends that have dined there 3 out of 4 nights this past April. Just depends on how many openings/cancellations there are during your cruise.

I had heard that about Palo. It's nice to know its true. There were several tables open the night we were there.

On our only night in Parrot Cay we had the Pirate Night menu. I got the pot stickers and thought they were too gummy. DH had the crab cakes, which were actually pretty good. The Conch Chowder was delicious. I could have made a meal of this soup. It was so good I felt like turning up the bowl and drinking it just to get the last drop. For the main course we went with the waiter's recommendation, which was the Treasure of the Seas Grilled Shrimp and Seared Scallops. The shrimp and scallops were pretty good, but I didn't like the strings of pasta with fresh Tomato Sauce. The sauce tasted bottled. I left most of the pasta on my plate. I can't remember what I had for dessert.

Will be good to see some new menu offerings, our first Disney cruise 4 years ago and the menus that were posted on the site last week for the Wonder were almost the same. Either way really, the food is good enough.

How do you get yourself on a list for Palo cancellations? We would love to do this on our up coming 7 night cruise!

I think you can only have one reservation going at a time. So you would have to wait until after you have dined and then request another one. I've also heard that if you tell your waiter you want to dine there again the next night he will take care of that for you. Maybe someone else can help with this answer.

I just went to the DCL website and you can look at the new menus there. Go under planning, and then restaurants ,then menus.

Tritons was our favorite of the Main Dining Room Menus. The Escargots Gratines was especially good that night, and I mean especially good! The Chilled Jumbo Shrimp was also very good. The French Onion Soup was excellent. The salads were just salads. Nothing special. DH and I both had the Seared Sea Bass. I was a little worried about the freshness factor since it was the last night, but it was cooked perfectly and was very good. I would recommend it. I had the Creme Brulee and it was very, very good. DH had the Sweet Temptations trio. The portions on the trio were very tiny, just a couple of bites each, and the Creme Brulee was the best. DH wished he had gotten the bigger portion of it.

Was just on the Disney Wonder, the menus online are not correct (at least Animators Palate).
