I read about a new show at the Poly Luau with a new story line.
Lilo & Stich added.

Is there a new menu ?

Anyone have any info on the new show ?

Do I really have to do 2 years in advance to get a good seat,
like the HDD ?
Could I make a PS in Feb for May and sit in a decent seat ?

Do I prepay when I make the PS ?

thanks :D

We went to the Luau in July 2002. There was no new show then. We had a great server but personally I was very disappointed in the experience. First of all they crowd WAY to many people in there. It is quite pricy (cost me 150.00 for family of 3) for that price they could keep the numbers down and make it more enjoyable. The food was mediocre and for that price I was expecting something a little more tasty and authentic. I spent 3 years living in Hawaii as a child and never ate roast chicken at a Luau. Also, never went to a Luau that didn't serve Poi. I was just disappointed because I really didn't feel as though it was worth the money.

There is supposed to be a new luau show beginning in March. I don't know if the menu has changed but we will be doing the show on our upcoming trip in March. I will let you know when we get back.

We are staying in The Hotel Royal PLaza in Downtown Disney from March 15-19 - Where are you staying and when? I forgot to mention when I was on my soapbox last night that the show was really good!

We will miss you. We are going March 5-11. You must be getting as excited as we are with the trip coming up so soon.
Have a great time.

Yes we are getting very excited! Post back when you return and let me know how you liked the Luau. Maybe I will consider going again if it has changed. I also considered going to the Backyard bar_b_Q. The crowds also might have been the time of year. July

I just got my Mickey monitor yesterday and here is what it says about the Luau changes - New music (from Lilo and Stitch) and new story line. it does not say anything about a new menu or the charactors being in the show - but of course, Disney likes surprises!!!!
