New Menu Item at 50's Prime Time Cafe

I, too, saw this on the food blog. I hope they are still offering it in May - those are the things I can't decide between!!

The combination platter sounds heavenly. I'm very excited that I will be able to order it using the DDP when i go in March. I'm actually surprised more resturants in WDW do not offer sampler platters for dinners.

DH got this over President's weekend and LOVED it. It made ordering easy for him since he didn't have to choose just 1 item. :thumbsup2

I know, I'm surprised too. Maybe if this is a hit more of the restaurants will start doing it. I am real excited now because my DD says that the meatloaf is wonderful, but I love the roast. I have always wanted to try the chicken too, but I just can't ever pass on the roast. :rotfl2:

This combination plate is actually making me debate on if we want to go there in September. What a great idea! :thumbsup2

It looks great but what a lot of food! Maybe I could get my daughter to split it with me. I've never tried the chicken because I get stuck on the pot roast and meatloaf!

Throws a monkey wrench into my June plans. We really like 50s PT, but this time we're doing Sci-Fi because the kids want to see it. I don't like doing TS too many days, but I love this idea. I've had the meat loaf and chicken, and DH has had the pot roast and they are all great.

I didn't notice is this on the lunch or dinner menu, I am thinking of going with this instead of sci fi.

I had this a few months back and loved it! The portions of the three items a slightly smaller so it is not too much food at all (but you do go away full). I think the fried chicken was my favorite though and made me wish I had gotten that platter instead. I was happy that I was able to try all three though. :goodvibes

I would definitely recommend it if you are just not sure, I loved being able to taste all three and not wonder if I would have liked something else better.

Also, get the peanut butter and jelly milkshake. :drinking1 it's sooooo good!

my belly is screaming for someting off of that plate...yummy....

We ate there at lunch time when DH ordered it. Not sure if it is on the dinner menu or not.

I ordered this on our Feb trip. It was nice to be able to try a bit of "everything." Its worth noting that a bit of each meat's side dish came along as well so its a big plate. We could have easily shared.

really hope its on the dinner menu in May. we have 2 reservations (different days) during our stay, never been before, but heard all good things

It was the special the evening we wer there a couple of weeks ago. Not on the menu, but the waitress offered it as the special, and my mind was made up! Too much food, though--we were leaving right after dinner and the chicken went home with me. Delish!
