New menu@ CRT

I'm guessing you can eat all you want, but because the Restaurant is in high demand, the waiters are told not to encourage this so they can increase turnover.

Our waiter never mentioned being able to get more of anything, leading us to believe this was no longer an all-you-can-eat location.
He never offered more, never intimated we could get more.
He just gave us the 3 choices, brought them out, and one time offered to refill drinks.

Our waitress said we could have anything we wanted, as much as we wanted. We got more croissants and sausage. And we thought the potatoes tasted great! We would go back, just for the food! We thought they had the best breakfast we had on the trip.

I'm glad to read at least one positive review! I'm hoping to eat here in February for breakfast.

There are no longer scrambled eggs and the potatoes were not that good.after the meal we all agreed that it was not the same and we missed the old breakfast but everyone was satisfied. The sausage was the same and we ordered lots of it.They did bring us allwe wanted and brought us different slections.

Is the "French Toast" still the same really good dish as before, that is much more than just everyday French Toast?

As one who has long loved CRT purely for its food and is hoping to go back in February for the first time in three years, it would be a real disappointment if it had changed to some generic dish pulled out from under a heat lamp.

The new menu sounds great! Thanks for posting it. We look forward to trying it next year. :cool1:

For those of you who are concerned: "Cinderella's Royal Table in Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom theme park offers a Character Dining experience in a mythical, medieval setting. Lords and ladies of all ages will sit wide-eyed at the all-you-care-to-eat breakfast and prix fixe lunch and Signature Dining dinner as they hobnob with Disney royalty." -- From the Disney Website.

Does anyone know if the menus are posted....anywhere?

This was the EXACT experience we had for breakfast there on 9/27. I was so very disappointed! I ate there for breakfast a year ago with my DM & DSIL & this time it was me, DH, DS, & DD. I was super excited to get an 8:15 breakfast reservation & told my family they were going to just love the potatoes & stuffed french toast. I was so sad that he gave us the 3 choices & that was it. No potatoes & the french toast they had this year was not the same & not anywhere near as good. No offer to bring any more of anything either...only refilled coffee once.

To top it off, the entire staff was rushing around like they were in a huge hurry & the princesses all barely gave us any time ~ just enough for a quick picture.

Certainly different from last year & a bit more expensive.

I would like to know if the french toast has changed too! Still debating about eating at CRT or not. If the french toast has changed then I'm cancelling! lol

I would call WDW dine and inquire about the AYCE and the menu changes. That way, it comes "straight from the horses mouth" and will calm your nerves;)

We ate breakfast at CRT on 9/22 and we also were offered the three choices. Both my DH and I chose the Garden Omelette and it was disgusting. It was definitely microwaved and the absolute worst breakfast for our entire stay. For the money you you spend of the 2TS credits per person, you would think they can at least make an omelette to order. Both of my children got the kids plate and it was just basic french toast sticks, a piece of sausage, and a couple tablespoons of eggs. We will NOT be going back.

So you have to choose between the three options? That is way over priced then. I have reservations there for 11/1...but if you only get a plate of french toast and bacon and your danish I'm not sure I'm going to even keep that reservation!

$50 for yogurt, granola and fruit might be healthy but :scared1:

I would be willing to bet that WDW-DINE can tell you absolutely nothing about the menus.

I'm guessing, calling CRT directly would be a better option.

We have dinner ressies here in December, and are planning for breakfast in May.

Last year breakfast here was wonderful! I too will miss those potatoes, and I am surprised at the lean options. Hopefully we can all see a menu soon--and I wonder if lunch and dinner have changed as well.:rolleyes1

That sounds really disappointing. The service there has always been on the poor side. They always drop your food and run to the next table to clear it and if they have time they will stop by and drop off your bill.

We always make the best of it and we are the people who wait and have them get us more. They do the seating in groups and we are always the last to leave. But hey it is a LOT of money and we paid for it so we should be satisfied. I know there are other people waiting to get in but they have to take care of everyone. No Flames please!! On another note we really enjoyed the old menu. Everything was delicious and very filling. The food is what keeps us going back. Now we are going to have to seriously think about going back!!!:wizard:

Well, I am seriously considering cancelling this reservation. We wanted to eat in the castle but I just don't see it being worth the money to go inside the castle for a breakfast that sounds more like cs! We leave on the 26th of this month so I am thinking of cancelling today. Maybe we will try Boma instead.....heard many good things about that one!

Darn it - - I hate to read this!! We've always eaten at CRT for the food, and were so looking forward to eating there again on our next trip. Hopefully, someone will get confirmation from Disney soon and post it. :flower3:

I emailed them late last night. Not sure when or if I will hear back from them. We wanted to eat inside the castle but for that price for two adults we could definately go elsewhere. So we will see if I get a response. I was looking forward to the french toast and scrambled eggs!

I just checked. Many of teh places witha fixed menu you can now see the actual menu online via Disney's website. The buffets are an exception - so is CRT (perhpas because it is an AYCE). The buffets, as I understand it, have alternating menues, so that's why theirs wouldn't be posted.

I'm really surprised by people's concerns. Like I said, we ate there just on 10/2, had a great waitress who not only refilled our OJ and coffee numerous times but got my DH a soda too, no additional charge; and got us any food we wanted, any amount we wanted. We never felt rushed, and were really happy with the experience (and we can be fussy!) In fact, when I told DH I wrote it was our favorite breakfast at Disney on this trip, he told me to say it was his favorite breakfast EVER at disney.

I'm so glad you had a great experience.:thumbsup2

Would you mind to tell us what you had to eat? Particulary about the french toast and the potatoes.

Thanks,
