New Menu at 1900 Park Fare?

I agree with the above poster - I thought some of the crystal palace food was more exotic and weirder then 1900 Pare Fare on this trip.

My DH was the same. He is SUPER picky, but he found plenty to eat at 1900 Park Fare. However, at Crystal Palace he stuck with carved meat and rolls...everything else was too "out there" for him.

I think the choices look great - very diverse, something for everyone. If you want pizza, burgers, and hotdogs, there are plenty of CS places to go!

SOunds okay to me and I am not an adventurous eater. I always like soup - salad and chicken marsala. I will give it a shot.:thumbsup2

It's not like they're serving, I don't know, kangaroo filets with squid sauce or something.

:rotfl2:

I couldn't get dinner here, unfortunately, and chose The Wave instead for one of our MK days. But I will try again for a reservation because the menu sounds wonderful to me :goodvibes Maybe I'll have better luck if so many people are cancelling

I don't like this new menu. :scared:

This is the menu they had BEFORE they did all the construction...I went in 2006 and this is what they had on the menu....they did change it for a while and it was pre plated when they had it at the grand floridian cafe...they WAS a not so good menu so we skipped it that year but we cant wait to go in December!

We ate there last October and thankfully it was during free dining.

It was the worst food selection we have ever had at Disney.

The interaction with Cinderella and her stepmother and stepsisters was great but we ate almost nothing, it seemed everything we tried we did not like.

If you have picky eaters I would not recommend this buffet.

I could have wrote this myself, except we are not picky eaters AT ALL and we still thought the selection was crappy, we barely ate anything :sad2: !

Dh is NOT going to be happy. Our last trip to the World was in 2006 and this was his favorite meal because he could eat mussles to his hearts content. Likewise - dd was head over heels for the peel and eat shrimp. This year when we started making ADR's this was his (and dd's) first request so I happily obliged. I didn't realize they had changed the menu - looks like no more mussles for DH and no more shrimp for dd. Neither one of them are getting what they're going there specifically for.

BUT.... This late in the game (36 days until we leave) there really isn't any point trying to find anything else. So I guess we'll go into it with open minds and just try to enjoy Cindy and the new entrees.

Just a suggestion.... maybe you should try Cape May Cafe, I believe they have what you are looking for and it usually isn't that hard to get a ressie there.

We take our Neice and Nephew and we ate there last Oct. it was ok but not great .
What was great was the look on thier faces when Cindy herself came up to them and told them how nice thier costumes were.

for both dinner and breakfast. We tried the breakfast in January and was really impressed.

For the person whose daughter wanted the peel and eat shrimp, they seem to still be on the menu. I believe it's listed under the starters.

I would have loved the mussels too!

The menu listed is OLD there are not mussels or peel your own shrimp regularly anymore. They do change and have special dishes so you might end up with some version of shrimp or mussels.
