New Membership Card After Add-on?

Are you issued another membership card after purchasing an add-on? I know the contract number slightly changes, does the membership number change too?

Our membership number and membership cards remained the same after our add on last year.

The suffix of the contract will change, but your membership number will not change. If you purchase a resale, after a direct purchase, you WILL get a new membership number.
