Never been to Publix since they don't have them here in TX, but I've heard good things! Do you go to this one for your DVC stays?

I have not been to that particular Publix. The one I would usually go to closed several months ago. Publix are at least as nice, if not nicer, than most of our HEBs here in Texas (I'm in Seguin)

DVC does not provide the filters for the coffee pots, so you'll need to bring those along with your coffee. Usually a 10-12 cup Mr Coffee flat bottom basket style filter coffee maker. You might also wind up with a smaller one, 4-6 cup coffee maker, if you are in a studio, but you can request the larger one if you like your coffee. You'll be provided paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent, dish washer detergent (in one bedroom and larger units), single use box of detergent for the in room clothes washer (one bedroom and larger only). If you want plastic wrap, Ziploc bags, etc , you'll need to bring your own.

We live in SW Florida and have both a Winn Dixie and two Publix in our town. Winn Dixie is going back to their old card system where you can use points to buy Shell gas in July (they are dumping the Plenti system that you could use at Mobile/Exxon gas station). Publix often has BOGO deals on lots of items. WD gives you a discount with their card. Publix also gives you a discount using in store coupons through your cell phone (sign up on the website).

The Plenti System is being shut down everywhere, it is not valid anywhere anymore, once AT&T dropped it a couple of years ago, the writing was pretty much on the wall. Thanks for info about the Publix phone coupons, I didn't know about those. I still think one of the best multi-outlet reward systems was S&H Green Stamps. I'm old.

Perfect! We pretty much exclusively shop at HEB & Whole Foods, so that's what I'm used to. Thanks for the info!
