Hello Everyone,

I've been lurking on this site for some time now, and have decided to just join in. I absolutely love this site, and it's better than any of the other sites I've been on for sure

I was born and raised in New Orleans, but have lived in Florida for 4 years and got spoiled going to WDW every weekend. Now I am in Raleigh, NC for a while but still head to WDW any chance I can get to go.

I love WDW and have been so many times I've lost count. It's truly my Happy Place and some family members, friends, etc just dont get why I love WDW so much. I am always planning trips there and am working on my next trip now. I battle with Crohns disease and going to WDW sure does make me happy and I can forget about my 'outside' cares for a while.

I look forward to reading everyones posts and posting myself. Just from reading on the boards for a while everyone seems so helpful and friendly.

BTW, my family and I just returned from NO during its hottest heatwave ever (July 30 - Aug. 4). Will have to return when the temperature is a little more bearable.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I am so glad to be here and making some new friends that share my Disney love - well, addiction! Haha!

Yes, Aug is a very, very hot month for N.O. - I remember many summers not even going outside in August - the other months are hot, but Aug is the worst! UGh! I dont blame you one bit for going when the weather is more bearable. Good idea!!
