New Member Where to stay 12/11-12/17

We just bought in last night and are looking at the 1 brm villas for 12/11-12/17. Any recommendations as to the favorites during xmas time? I just checked and I think all had some available.

Everyone LOVES Xmastime at The Wilderness Lodge. The decorations are amazing and the whole theme fits in great with the holidays.

We stayed at OKW for Thanksgiving and that was very nice too. The decorations were very unique but what I enjoyed most was that even though they were 100% full, it didn't seem crowded.

If I were you, I would call MS tomorrow and book your stay. We'll be at BCV during the 1st part of your stay and can't wait to see the decorations.

AS CC pointed out, VWL is the most popular in December, but you probably can't go wrong where ever you decide to stay.

And by the way....Congrats and WELCOME HOME!

Thanks we actually have stayed in the hotel part of the Beach Club the past 4 years during the same time period and loved it. We want to try something different but don't want to at the same time. We actually booked the BCV for the week but wanted to get everyone's opinions and then change if we are swayed.

I would say if they have all the nights available at VWL, then you should go for that.

While I agree that the VWL should be the first choice, the BWV are great during the holidays. One nice thing is the proximity to MGM so you can walk over to see the Osbourne Lights and to EPCOT so you can see the decorations and the Candlelight Processional there.

I would pick BCV or WLV. BC has such great access to Epcot and there is alot there for the holidays. WL has great feel. But when we stayed last Dec. it was too cold to swim so it was nice to be able to walk into Epcot and see the 'santas' and such. WL has some sort of holiday music every evening in the lobby which is very magical as well. Have fun and good luck. Karen

I hope what you are looking for is available. You wont really know until you check with MS tomorrow morning. Things go very quickly for early December and VWL and BCV are the two smallest DVC resorts on site.
