Today I began the process of purchasing my DVC from The Timeshare Store. I am scheduled to close around 9/8 and want to book a trip. I purchased 250 pts from OKW and would love to go soon after. Could I contact the seller and ask them to request a week?

When I purchased one of my contracts from a private seller we could not close until any reservations made by the seller were complete (ie. made the commitment to purchase in January and could not officially close on sale until June because there was a reservation made for Memorial Day weekend). So I don't think it is possible for you to do this....congratulations on your purchase and good luck with your closing!!

No - that won't work. DVC automatically cancels all reservations when a contract is sold.
