I just closed monday on 120 point in AKV. They told me 10 days until i was in the system. is that true? ive been waiting so long i just cannt keep waiting!

Do you have a DVC member card yet? If so, you can give Member Services a call (their number is on the back of the card) and find out. But you MUST have a membership number to pretty much do anything with your DVC points.

I can't remember what it was like initially getting into the DVC system, but I know any time I have *added* points to my contract, they have been available to book with immediately.

Did you buy through Disney or resale? Through Disney, the points are usually available the same day. With resale, you have to wait until after closing and you are put into the system.
