New member hello and question re planning DVD

Hello-

New member here, though I've been lurking for quite a while.

I must say that I am beyond impressed with the amount of knowledge contained here - it's because there's so much information that I've been lurking for so long!

But now I find I do have a question - I'm planning a trip to WDW for next March or June, so I have plenty of time. I was wondering if the planning DVD that you can order from Disney is updated every year?

Right now the order form specifically mentions "The Year of a Million Dreams", which I think ends sometime in 2007. Would I be better off waiting to order the DVD so I receive one that is more "current" as to my planned trip dates - or does it not really matter and I should order one now?

I would go ahead and order one, hey it's free and you don't get to many things from Disney for free (you even have to pay for the phone call when calling them) You can always order another one if a new one comes out. I have seen 3 or 4 of them and some of them are better then others. So you might like this one better than the next and then it will be to late to order it.

We started a collection of these videos awhile ago and we order a planning video every year. We have quite a few. It can't hurt to order one now. the basics probably wont change. It seems like the only thing that changes on ours from year to year is whatever that year's theme is. I say order it and keep coming back here for updates and info until your trip. Enjoy planning and have a great trip!

Thanks for the help - I guess I will request one now, and another one at the end of the year to see what next year's theme is.

I'm sure I will be back with other questions - I'm an obsessive travel planner, though this is the first time I've planned WDW. I've only been once before, about 15 years ago - and I basically wandered around in a daze, I think.

I've been to Disneyland umpteen times, but it really does not require the amount of planning that WDW appears to need.
