New member question about booking. I have a use year of June. Starting in June of 2006 I will get 14 points (bought resale), which I will bank. I would like to book something for Dec 2007 which will be about 300 points. At the eleven month (Feb 2007) window will I be able to book something for Dec 2007? I will be getting another 150 points June 2007 and I was planning on borrowing 150 points from 2008. Would this work?

Short answer - YES, it willl work.

A December 2007 falls within your 2007 use year. For that reservation you may use banked points from your 2006 use year (14), current use year points (150) and you may use up to 150 borrowed points from your 2008 use year. (I assumed your contract is for 150 points).

As long as you have enough points to cover the reservation, you may book your home resort 11 months prior to check out. Booking has nothing to so with use year.

FWIW, the 11 month window for a December vacation is the preceeding January. Or is the first night of your vacation 12/31/2007? If so, you can't book that night until 2/1/2007.
