Hi all. I just joined yesterday. We're planning a trip to FW Campground next May and I am gathering all the tips I can get. The reservations are made - it looks like we will be in loop 300 (the only preferred pet loop). We're hoping that the rumors of a new slide in the FW swimming pool will turn out to be true.

I left CT a year ago for a great job opportunity here in Upstate NY/Vermont. All our family is still in CT and we go back about once a month.

Would love to camp at WDW... and bring the furry kids. But vacation time isn't enough to drive back and forth and enjoy a week there. Plus my cats don't travel well... should have heard them when we moved here... horrible.

I recognize you from PUX...and we're almost neighbors here in CT . Welcome to the DIS...just about as addictive as PUX - so prepare to spend even more time hanging out online, LOL!

Hi KristinU. Being here on Dis does take a bit of my time away from PUX - LOL. Nice to see a familiar face here too (I expected to run into one or two PUXers here at least). Thanks for the driving link. We had our maiden voyage with our Jayco 26L to Myrtle Beach in April, so I have some experience with the nightmare that is I95. I95 through NY, NJ, and Baltimore was an absolute PITA. We vowed never to take that route again. Actually, I hated I95 in South Carolina because of the rough rises and drops on the concrete sections. I was getting sea sick by the time we turned off (thankfully) to Myrtle Beach.

I assume that you have your Aliner now - nice camper!
