We bought into AKV last year with a March use year. I expected monthly payments to begin this month, but haven't received anything. Can anyone tell me how this works?

Dues are to be paid at the begining of each the calendar year... it has nothing to do with your use year. Contact MS or look online... also see if you are already being charged monthly (your bank) by disney.

If you bought direct from Disney last year, you would most likely have your ownership at the new Kidani building. Since this building isn't scheduled to be available for occupancy until May 1, 2009 your dues payments wouldn't begin until at least that date.

If you bought via resale you could have gotten a contract for a unit in Jambo House which would mean you may have some dues for 2008/2009 depending on what you negotiated with the seller during the resale.

Dues for Kidani are not due util May or June....I caled about this a few weeks ago. They are also prorated for the year (i.e you will not be paying a full year's amount of dues). We have a 160 pt contract so ours are around $500 or so............
