New Member Cards-not yet

Nothing in Canada yet. We head to AKL in a couple weeks, so we'll just use the old ones for this trip I guess!

I tried to see about printing the ones they offer on the member services site, but they only offer us one with my name on it, not my husband's.

We're in Canada too (Ontario) and haven't received anything yet. This thread gives me hope though as I see we are not alone.

We're in Canada as well, and no cards yet. We are also headed down in a couple of weeks. Since the old cards are still accepted until April, that's what we'll use.

By the way, if you're husband has his own online account, he can print the temporary one through there.

I just got off an online chat with MS, a very nice and efficient chat I should add, and was told if we did not receive our cards by end of March then we should call MS. Referring back to an earlier post, I agree this is a business failure. The early communication was fine, but did no one in DVC member services realize how long the rollout was going to be? Or did they honestly think all cards would be mailed by end of January and there would be no phone calls, emails, chats, etc trying to find out what was going on?

:confused3:confused3
Oh dear lord.... the target date has moved to the END of March? Could be bad for DVC - that would be about the 90 day mark for folks paying by CC on Jan 1 to file a CC challenge :(.

I don't quite understand all this CC challenge you talk about. You own points at a resort and paid maintenance fees with your credit card. How can you challenge that?? You did not specifically pay for a member card that you ordered and did not get.:confused3

I agree- what is with all the credit card challenge talk! Where was it ever guaranteed that the cards would be received in January too?? As far as I see it the old cards are good through March so unless a member does not receive theirs by then I think all is fine, many people are reporting receiving them in the last 2 weeks too which appears to be a good sign. There are at least 350,000 members worldwide so a roll out of personalized cards in 90 days seems reasonable especially since the old cards are valid until then.

In Canada, just got my husband's today...we have two memberships and both his cards are in one envelope. I didn't receive mine yet.

Still don't understand why they just can't put it into one envelope. I just feel that it's a waste (regardless of who pays for it).

We are in Canada and got ours today in the silver 25 Year celebration envelope....both mine and my wife's.

Update in Canada...got ours yesterday (Monday) in the anniversary mailer. Both cards (myself and DH) were in there!

Still no go here in Texas for either the cards nor the Disney Files.

So glad this thread is here - was starting to worry when I read the Disney Files the other day. None yet in MN, members since 2007.

No cards or disneyfiles yet, we are from Massachusetts. Members since 1999.

Our address is in Scotland and we are temporarily living in Brisbane so ours went to Scotland and were then redirected to Australia and we got them today so they must be getting close to the end.
