New Meal Plans Possible

I would like to be able to mix sit-down and counter service, but I guess I could eat sit-down twice a day for those prices:D I have often wished they had a meal-inclusive plan for annual passholders.

The 2 meal a day plans sound great. I am just starting to plan a Sep 04 trip for me, DW, DD, DSIL, & DGS. I was planiing on getting AP's for all of us until I found out you could only get the Silver Plan with the Dreammaker Package. Obviously would not need Dreammaker if we had AP's. This meal package is exactly what I was looking for. I know Disney moves slowly on most things but I sure hope they have something in place by next fall.

I find that at certain times of the year, especially with the parks close early that 2 sit down meals per day takes up too much precious park time. That's just me, I guess... the Energizer, Nazi Touring Bunny!:smooth:

Wow- Any of those plans would be great (although I would only use the sit-down ones /refillable drink one)....But Honestly- I can't believe those prices- How could they afford to offer 3 sit-down meals a day for $39, when currently the average price for an entree is about $20? Something would have to give drastically- either quality or quantity? (Disney is in the business of making money after all). And me personally- I would rather pay a little extra for a Good meal. Part of the allure of Disney vs. other theme parks, for me, is the abundance, variety, and quality of the food. Just my 2 cents! Jill

Maybe they are trying to get more people to eat on property, that way they will be making more money, not less.

I think it is great that Disney is thinking about meal deals that average people would actualyl want. The prices are more than likel based on people often forgoing meals. Let's face it, how often do you plan on meals and then the day comes and you are just not hungry. I know we rarely eat 3x a day while we are there.

Let's hope some of these actually are put into production!

These sound great-a lot like the old Food-N-Fun program. That cost $48pp for 2 meals a day years ago (but the recreation was included too.) Even so these are really a good deal if you ate lunch and dinner every day!

Hmm.. thats a hard call.

My kids don't eat much, so kids eat free program would be great.

2 meals per day would be interesting... notice the refillable mug things.. wonder if they would phase out the resort mugs.

But you could have a nice breakfast before the parks open and dinner at a resort after all but Epcot have closed. Or I suppose even after Epcot closes but I'm ready for bed by then myself.:D The OP did state that the plans would be available all over property.
