My window for making my Fast Pass selections starts Saturday. Should I wait until Sunday to see what the new interface and plan looks like, or make my Fast Pass selections Saturday like I had planned? Thanks!
Don't wait.
You can always make changes later.
(And... what if... the "new interface" is lousy and/or crashes?)
I agree. Select your 3 FPs for each park day and then reduce them down depending on the changes to the MDE. Also wait for reports from those who are in the parks on Sunday before you make changes to your pre-booked FPs.
Here's a thread with some of the updates. Your parents will only need to check FPs - you can always take a screenshot and text it to them:I guess I missed that changes were coming. Are we talking about new rules for FPs? Or just the fact that you will be able to book 4th+ on your phone now? I just taught my parents how to use MDE for our June trip.... Am I going to have to start over??

Significant Updates Coming to FastPass+ April 10th
Will you be in a Tiered park for your 2nd park? Our window opens Saturday as well and I was just going to ask this question!
I'm also wondering if it would be advantageous to book just 2 fast passes or still go with the 3? We are park hopping (rope drop in am, break, then using fast passes in the evening at a different park ) if that helps you answer my q, I'm a little confused what the best strategy would be. Or do I change that strategy even?
Thanks!

You do have to choose 3 FPs if you book prior to Sunday. You can Cancel 1 by choosing Cancel Some of My Selections (Button) from the MDE website.
Most people appear to book FPs beginning late morning if they are at rope drop.Still in the afternoon if you hit rope drop in the am?
Initially, 1, 2, or 3 FPs at one park. With the new system, can you book your first one at one park, and the other 2 at another park?
Yes, I should have been more clear about that... tiering doesn't matter to us since we are visiting all parks more than once.
With that said... what is the new strategy for booking fast passes?
1. Still in the afternoon if you hit rope drop in the am?
2. With the new system, can you book your first one at one park, and the other 2 at another park?
3. I thought I understood it that you need to actually "use" the first one before you can book the 2nd and 3rd at another park?
