New May Poll

I started this poll on the Themeparks Board, but it is probably just as appropriate here. I just wanted to get an idea of what kind of impact the "50th B-Day Celebration" was going to have on May.

That's when we're going as well! Do tell about the crowds, heat, etc? We've only been once, in October, and were able to walk on to rides the first part of the week. As the week wore on though, it got pretty crowded. It was really hot and humid but it rained only once.

I'm VERY anxious to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are heading down May 13th - 19th. This will be are first time in May and the First trip for the kids.

In 2003 the temps were very hot and never rained. We went swimming everynight trying to cool down. Our DS 4 at the time thought it was great.
Crowds were not bad.

In 2004 the temps were perfect warm during the day and cooled off nicely during the evenings and only rained the first day we were there. Crowds not bad at all.

Hope it will not be bad because of the celebration but not going to worry because we are going to the happiest place on earth.

Hope you a Magical Day. We had our honeymoon at WL and it was great. We stayed at the Mansion at PO in May and it was great. Again hope you have a great marriage as we do.

We're going the first week in May...we've only been before at the end of February. It was really crowded, so we're hoping the crowds aren't as bad this time. The heat I can handle, but a 2 hour wait for Test Track I can not!

I'm not going to be digging the heat, I'm so used to the cold (it's been down to -22 in the past 2 weeks at night), in fact I don't even remember the last 90 degree day I've seen. We're going 5/30-6/6 for our honeymoon, I just hope it's not a heat wave.

I'd like to say Congratulations! You couldn't have picked a better wedding day. That is my birthday (May 21st) and we will be staying at the WL for our trip May 20th - May 25th. I hope you both have a wonderful like together!!

We are going May 20th - May 25th. We are so excited and can't wait for May to get here (feel like I'm wishing my life away). Last year we went during the 3rd week in April and it only our 2nd trip to WDW for my husband and I, and 1st trip for our daughter. We had a blast!!! Only rained one day and it was crowded, but you I didn't think it was too awefully bad!!

I will be down there during Memorial Day weekend as well.

We are going May 6th thru 13th. Arriving the day after the celebration kick off has me a little concerned but not enough to change my dates, LOL!

We will be there from May 24 to June 3. We've been to WDW on two occasions during the last part of May, early June. The temps have always been great....warm during the day and cooler in the evening (light sweater on some nights!).

I also feel like I'm wishing my life away....waiting for the trip!!

Can't get here soon enough!!
