Anyone know anything about this... looks like new cars, and no more having your kiddo sit between your legs!

Well, geez... it looks like it won't let me post the link to the other site that showed the pics... hmmm...

I saw the picture. I think it will work wonders for capacity because a lot of the time cars would go out without people sitting tandem with only 4 people per bobsled. This will hopefully make sure that at least 5 or 6 people are heading out each time. One thing that would be helpful would be a Single Rider line to fill the gaps, although I'm not sure where they would put it.

Found this...Is this what you were looking at?

It makes it look more comfy too... which might go a long way to getting dd to like the ride more (she says it is too bumpy! and allows us to ride it exactly 1 time per trip.) But, having her in a seat in front of me instead of with me will probably make her not want to go at all... wondering when they'll do the transition to the new cars, hopefully after our October trip.

Does anyone know if they'll they be putting these cars in during the refurb that starts next week?

I ran a Google search and found this one:

Sort of hard to see the cars, but the seats do seem to be blue.

:confused3

Covered cars have been spotted just hanging out on the track;)

That's what I saw--a pic of the covered cars... and then a pic of the car uncovered... one at a time individual seating with a lap bar you pull down... seats looks more padded and comfy...

Mommy2PrincessAbby, can you see the photo I posted above? Is that the car you saw?

Nah, It'll have to wait till I get home... I can only view some photos on this site... usually only if someone quotes someone else, and the photo is in the quote... work browser is pretty locked down!

Looks like I can't go on it with my almost 3-year-old unless he were to sit alone. No way!
Bummer. :(

Shucks, I agree, although they look cool, I'm so bummed, we were so looking forward to taking DD3 on this ride for the first time. No way am I letting her sit by herself. She loves to go fast and sure would have loved this one. Bummers :(.....

Wow, I sure hope they aren't making them individual seats. My DS3 will ride but no way will he do it in a seat by himself and I wouldn't want him to anyways.

Miceage is reporting that the new cars don't have lap bars and that there are three seats per car but they're saying no word on if the seats will be single or if you can do two to a seat.

Yeah - our TALL 2.5 was able to ride safely with mommy last time and had lots of fun. But the ride is to bumpy/jerky to let her go by herself... Doesnt look like there is anyway to wrap arms around her....well maybe the next trip....

I wonder how much of a difference these new cars will make. I really dont like this ride much due to it being really jerky and the seats are so uncomfortable. Specially when you have to buddy up and share. Besides some of the cool effects inside the mountain, I can pass up this ride. Although I am extremely curious now about these new cars and am actually looking forward to trying this ride out. I hope there are some who can keep us updated on this thread to tell us their experiences. :)
