Our family vacation is to WDW at the end of March. Today I received our personalized maps. They look different than they did in 2007. I don't remember them being double sided.:confused3

My DD's picked out new dresses from the Disney site online, and they are scheduled to arrive this afternoon. I hope they are as cute IRL as they appear to be online. Tink and Aurora here we come!:cool1:

Can you tell I'm excited to go? We are staying at CSR for the first time. Last time we were at POR, and we loved it.

The doorbell is ringing, I'm sure it's the package!:cheer2:

DD7 will be so excited when her bus arrives:yay: .

I'm turning my family into Disney junkies:rotfl: . We all sat on the couch and reviewed the maps. I'm so happy my husband is getting excited too. We really need a family vacation!

Same here, everytime we have a trip, I'm more excited than my kids. :lmao: May you have a great time, have fun and enjoy in your upcoming trip.

Have a nice day. :)

I was a bit bummed at the maps being two sided. However they were free so I am fine. I was going to frame them or use them in a scrapbook somehow.

Hope the dresses are great!

:happytv:

Can you believe our DVD showed up yesterday? What a Disney week. We watched every section last night.

DH is interested in the Kim Possible missions. Has anyone done one? Did it keep your kids interest?

Tell me about your pre-trip excitement! Clearly it doesn't take much for me:rotfl2: .

I am impatiently waiting on our DVD. I think I'm more excited about the Kim Possible missions than my 10 yr old. :) We watched youtube videos from the park yesterday to get the kids interested.

I was surprised to get our DVD actually. I don't think I requested it until the end of Jan. or the beginning of Feb. Most things I have read say that they take a while. This time it wasn't in a plastic case, but more of a heavy cardstock paper. When do you go?

I hit Michael's today for a Daisy Scout craft, and stumbled on to the dollar Disney section. I picked up a lanyard for each girl. My little one (who wants to be 15) got a Camp Rock, and the seven year old got an Aurora:flower1: . Now I need to go to pincastle, unless someone can tell me a better place, to get them something to put on them. I'm making this a surprise. I hope they like trading pins. I'm limiting the souvenirs this year. We really don't wear T's at home, and we have too many toys already.:upsidedow

Back to the T's. Actually I ordered T's for the entire family for $3.99 when I purchased their princess dresses online. That reminds me that I need to return Tink to the Disney store next week. I ordered a size to big for my DD5. She is the same size as my DD7, but it was just huge. Oh well, it gives me a chance to go shopping:yay: .

What are others doing to prepare? Do you let your little ones dress up in costumes? My neighbor looked at me like I had a third eye when she saw them. She stated that two summers ago very few little girls dressed up (I have a hard time believing that:rolleyes1 ).

I'm going the last week in May. Just requested the video a week or two ago. But I have no patience.:) I'll have to head to Michael's soon. My oldest DD is named Aurora. She would flip for those. I love picking up little things to surprise them with on the way to Dis and when we get there. :cool1:

Where did you get the T's and dresses?

You better go to Michaels soon. We got the last Aurora. They had a ton of Camp Rock, one with three princesses, and one Hannah Montana left.

I love that your daughter's name is Aurora. What a great name!

I got the T's and dresses from the Disneystore.com site. I waited until the President's Day sale to get 30% off and $5 shipping. I had everything saved in my shopping bag, and waited until I could get a good price. Then I used the Disney Rewards dollars I had. I paid very little out of pocket.

The only thing I'm waiting for is our Mickey mail. I'm assuming we won't get it for a while since it goes to our TA first.

I've managed to stay off this sight a little. The two things I keep coming back to are trading pins and Ridemax. Do 5 and 7 year olds like to trade? Does Ridemax make your vacation less enjoyable because you put it on a schedule? Goodness, you can plan yourself to death with DisBoards!
