Is there any word yet on when these might be available to the general public?

Well they will start going on sale with the new Rogue One merchandise this month.

I have heard they will start shipping to AP holders this month and then start going to resort guests for the new year.

That'a great! I have an early February trip planned and was hoping to experience the new bands. Maybe I will!!

Oh man my trip is in late Jan (not a passholder) and I've been wondering as well whether I will get the new one. When they say they'll go to resort guest in Jan I'm wondering if that means guests whose trips are in Jan or guests whose trips are later but who are scheduled to have their bands shipped in Jan. My bands are supposed to ship in just about 2 weeks and I would love the new bands but feel like it would still be too soon to get them out.

I have a trip planed for Feb and then my AP renewal is in April so hoping to get the new band on one of the trips.

My new AP ones arrived the other day and they're old design. I have a set in the mail now for my early January trip, fingers crossed!
