New Le Cellier dress code?!?!?!?

I missed the news that LeCellier is going to 2 credit. Is it the only restaurant making a change next year? We have eaten there every trip, but we skip it if it is 2-credits.

Isn't that a bummer? We love going but won't waste 2 credits unless I hear extremely improved experiences from DIS diners! ;)

Shorts and tee shirts are not against any signature restaurant dress codes. Torn or cutoff shorts and tee shirts with "objectionable" slogans or graphics are.

If Le Cellier becomes a signature restaurant it will have a suggested dress code which will include tees which are not torn, flip flops that are not straight for the pool, and most other park attire

Which everyone will ignore. I showed up at the signature resturant in France in "park attire" asked if I could have a walk up table and if I was dressed OK. Response was yes on both.

(T shirt, shorts, tennis shoes. I was dressed like the majority.> There were a couple of 'dressed up' folks, but honestly I am not doing that to hike through a theme park :) )

It will be 2 TS credits for dinner beginning in March. Lunch will still be 1 TS credit.

There for dinner three weeks ago and we were in shorts, T's, flops, golf shirts, etc., and had no issues regarding a dress code. Live in Chicago and have eaten my share of pretty good steaks, so I was prepared to be a bit underwhelmed, but I was pleasantly surprised. Food was actually pretty good, the Molson Canadian was cold, and Jillian really looked after us.

i wouldn't worry to much about them implementing the same dress code as the other signature restaurants as they're soooo liberal in terms of enforcement. not counting the more strict dress code at victoria and alberts...i think the one place you see people being most compliant is at the california grill otherwise it's really lax. when we did narcoossee's and flying fish last year people were wearing things like jeans, shorts, disney t-shirts...very park casual but not poolside/beach or looking like you just mowed the lawn. yes, some people were dressed more for dinner but a good majority weren't in anything special.

oh no, 2 TS credits? Bummer! I guess we'll have to make this a lunch spot then.
