New Jersey Week, exactly when?

When exactly is this? When would be the first day in early or mid November do you think that would not be very crowded to start a vacation.

The week of the 6th.

I've been there a few times during "Jersey Week" and it's really not that crowded. However, I would think that the following week up until Thanksgiving week would be less crowded.

Yes, I would say it starts as early as 11/4.

The actual NJEA Convention dates for 2006 are Thurs 11/9 and Fri 11/10.
AND
Veterans Day this year is on Saturday 11/11.
AND
Election Day is Tuesday 11/7, some schools have off this day as well, some schools give the whole week off.

I have gone down (from NJ) a couple of times during Jersey week and have found it very pleasant - crowd wise and weather wise. Will plan all of my trips during this week as long as my son is in school!

We've gone over Jersey week and found it to be really slow. Most we waited was 10 minutes for anything. It was funny seeing all the license plates in the parking lot say New Jersey.

Just think NJ is the only state to have a week named for it. I'm glad to be from NJ.
