I'm driving from New Jersey to Orlando in a couple of weeks.

I was planning on leaving around 7 pm on a Friday evening and not really stopping except for gas and bathroom breaks. We would leave after dinner, eat a packed breakfast in the car and - if necessary - just stop for a quick lunch if we aren't close enough to the park.

Two questions:

1. Does this sound like a good plan?

2. Are there any recommended places to stop along I-95?

Thanks for any help

That does sound like a good plan. I travel from VT. to Disney 2 times a year. We usually leave around 4 pm, thus avoiding traffic in NYC, Baltimore, DC, and Richmond. Only stopping for gas and bathroom breaks, we are there in about 24 hrs. We pack the car with snacks and soda, and only stop in Albany for dinner the night we leave.
