Does this mean Tutu De Italiano (Sp?) is gone?
If so that's going to make my choice not to bother with a day in Epcot after the cruise a lot easier...

Tutto Italia is still there. A second restaurant, Via Napoli, which features Neapolitan pizza among other dishes, opened in a new building next to Tutto's.

Via Napoli gets amazing reviews. I think i only read one negative review about the place. Im dying to try it. :)

It looks very tomato based - the reason I hated Italian cuisine for the longest time. Then I discovered that there were entire regions of Italy that didn't rely on tomato sauce and I was sold. =)

Of course, I'm willing to be corrected if the new place isn't tomato heavy.

Well. The restaurant is called Via Napoli. The food is Napolitano which does use quite a bit of tomato. It's certainly not a Milanese, Genovese, Veneto or Piemonte kitchen.

None of us liked the entrees at Via Napoli. We want to go back to try the pizza. The Tiramisu was the BEST we've ever had. Yummy!

Has anyone tried Via Napoli with the dining plan? I assume you get an indiviual size pizza. Looks good on paper, just wondering if it's worth booking for myself and my kids.

Yes, you can get an individual pizza for 1 credit. They won't let more than 1 person share the individual pizza on DDP though. Children 3-9 can get pizza on DDP but they must order it from the children's menu.

I'm hoping an individual pizza is big enough for an adult, and hopefully better than pizza planet.

Definatly big enough for one person, I could barely finish mine, and I didn't have any apps or desserts. And much better then Pizza Planet!

Of course it depends on your appetite but it definitively beats pizza planet, I was happily surprised! My favorite is the mushroom pizza! We finally find good pizza at Disney but my son chose the penne or rigatoni w/ chicken and peas instead and loved it. (It was good)

Good to hear. My late wife was italian, and her aunt made the BEST authentic italian pizza. Quite different than the stuff you get delivered.

From the various photos I've seen of Via's food it looks on the authentic style.

Does anyone know if sharing the individual pizza is a problem if paying out-of-pocket? Sometimes we like to do a couple of apps and share an entree.
We paid out of pocket, we were 6 and shared 3 ind. pizza's, a couple of salads and a few appetizers and hot dishes, no problem!

From what I understand if you are not on the dining plan you can share whatever you want.

On the dining plan it is 1 credit (adult) for an individual pizza. Sharing not allowed.
It is 2 credits (adult) for the large pizza. Only two people can share it. If there is a third person at the table they will be required to order their own meal.
4 credits (adult) for the 1/2 meter pizza. Same thing, more than 4 persons at the table some of them will have to order their own meal.

Children's credits can't be used for the regular pizzas - they can only be used to order from the children's menu.

Dining plan guests may also want to note that Via Napoli doesn't include specialty beverages like agua fresca on the dining plan.

Has anyone had any luck using the DDP with the build your own pizza. I asked this on another thread and only got a couple answers that were conflicting. Thanks.
