But as far as I've seen it seems that just about nobody ever wants to trade them, although I know plenty of people with multiples. But yes, by rereleasing all this stuff all they are doing is making it extremely difficult to trade for ANYTHING.

I think it should be rereleased in a difficult quest once again, but definately not as horribly brutal as the first one.
But I really think they should give us some new items that are ONLY FOR SALE THE WEEKEND THEY ARE RELEASED. I've quit trading now that it's impossible to trade anything. Like someone said in another thread, all they are doing is protecting the rich and hurting everyone else.

Though I want the Rurple Baseball Costume (bah, you'll never get me to say that again) to be sold, I'd rather it remain a little rarer.

But that doesn't mean bring back the Air Bud and the Obscure Disney Baseball Movies!

Let's have a difficult quest, not an insane quest. And you'd have the entire weekend to get the costume, not one day.

Oh, the blue baseball outfit... I think I still have 4-5 of those from last year. Didn't trade worth a darn then (I think it was available for sale for like 6 months), I surely doubt it'll be worth anything now. But, cool, newbies get to buy them. Fine (just don't stock up kids, you'll be wasting your money, get one and move on).

...and then the most difficult quest EVER came out for the only baseball outfit girls could have. ...It's no secret that they "Rurple" hat is my favorite and that I have traded quite a bit for a few extras. ...The reason that outfit (more specifically the hat) is SOOO coveted is due to the fact that the quest to obtain it was truly brutal. You had to play EVERY mini game, an earn amazing scores in every one of them. It took many (self included) HOURS to complete. ... VMK, if you are going to rerelease this item: PLEASE do so in the same way that you did the first time - in the most difficult 1 day quest to ever be seen in this game. ...

Here here Dreams! To get a complete "Rurple" (nice!) Baseball costume you had to play four one-day-only quests over a holiday weekend (one quest each day and if you missed it because you were doing holiday stuff, too bad). And these were very difficult quests, not something you could run your mules through in 5 minues like today's quests. Nah, these had like 40 tasks each including difficult scores to achieve on all four mini-games (compounded by so many players trying for the same goal made the dc monster, who was alive and well in those days, really happy). Plus the topics were terribly obscure, like Air Bud 29 Geriatric Canine Shuffleboard and Angles in the Outfield 19 Angles have White Feathers... I mean who watches those movies? It took hours to look up and/or beg for the answers (this was before I knew about Dis and getting spoilers, heh). Those were the most difficult quests I'd ever been on. So when I wear my Rurple costume, I wear it with pride.

...Hmm... red could be nice. (And if you get that joke, yay for you!).

I know this probably won't win me any brownie points .. but I don't understand why you want the newbies to suffer through a quest that was clearly painful to a lot of people? Sounds like VMK made a mistake in making the quest so hard the first time around .. after all it is supposed to be a kids game.

It's not that we want others to suffer as much as part of the Pride of having those costumes was that we were there!

I dont think vmk needs another girls only outfit, but then again thats just me...

I agree... Not until we boys get a nifty Prince outfit. Though I'd per ferfectly happy if VMK came out with a third colored (green!) baseball outfit that was omni-gendered as the Ruple costume is. Or change the blue for the girls to wear to (yeah I know, it'll never happen).

I'm sorry Ladies, I don't want the Ruple costume re-released.

Here here. Release the hounds. Um, I mean release the outfits. And all those rare (stitch, inferno, sparrow, etc). Break down the class lines between the haves and have nots.

I agree.. By the Way I am the only teen around here? You don't need to answer that just Wondering its seems like I am sometimes.. ANYWAYS I think they should sell the hat for a lot of credits or have like Goofy05 said have a quest that have mini games at REASONABLE points. OR make it brutal but make it two days long. I crash and disconnect a lot because I have a wireless computer and on top of that school is in two days so I would not be able to get it if they make a brutal quest for one day. Just voicing a opinion.

That's one of the reasons why the hat is so hard to come by. It was an extremely brutal one day quest on a Friday. Many kids were still in school and many adults were at work. Then, it also often took hours to complete. Even with all the answers. It was also during Memorial weekend, so a lot of people were out of town that weekend too.

I would never condone another quest like that one. But I would like to see it through another quest. Along with other extremely difficult items to get.

But, imo, one day per piece is good. It would help to retain some value, and it's still tradable.

I hope the Red Baseball Suit is sold. The hat quest stunk big time. I have two kids and they were furious that they could not do it themselves. In addition, most kids have (or at least some do) time constraints on when they could be on the computer. So, I had to battle to obtain that quest item (Hat) for them, because it was not made for kids. Also, a few friends and I had to worked hard to cover friends who we knew were not available to do the quest. I felt really bad that I could not help all because I just had to stop doing the quest.

As for messing up trading, re-releasing items lowers value for a period of time, but eventually new players come on board looking for it. This has been going on in the game often, so not sure why it is a big deal now. I have had many of my rare's and valuables decrease due to re-releases, just have to grin and bear it.

Also, I cant believe we are complaining about the baseball suit. My question is where is the surf table we were sworn to get this month. I know we have a few weeks left in August but come on quit regurgitating old stuff.

Well I remember that quest I managed to get 2 hats. And one I promised to my dear friend Pink I think she was somewhere and could not do it. Lucky her heheh She owes me a tough quest down the road. Fortunately nothing has been as brutal as that one. Unless you count the new green care quest for fireworks.

Look at how long they're keeping things for sale now. The only things that have been taken out of the stores in the last few weeks are the weekend pins. Even the blue dress, king's crown and pan hat are still for sale.

Yes, whatever happened to weekend only? Why should anyone bother to stock up on these now?

Of course, I would prefer another baseball outfit that is easy for all girls to obtain by being sold. Don't get me started on how ticked off I was last May about all of this. Girls are baseball fans too, ya know?

But then VMK chooses to make the football costume wearable for girls. Go figure!

If VMK wants to cut down on scamming for things like Stitch, Inferno, and so on, taking the stuff that's tougher to obtain and just selling it cheaply only makes Inferno and all that cost more and become harder to trade for.

Very true. You would think from the exclusive want lists in many trades now that most players have Stitch hats.

The above is all precisely why I think EVERYTHING should be sold in the game, including Inferno and the Stitch stuff, but that's another argument entirely.

Can't help wondering how different the atmosphere in VMK would be if they did this.....

It was mainly the part of each mini game needing to be played, with hight amounts needed to get to the next task, not to mention each task was timed.

Ah, you're RIGHT!! I've been reading everyone's comments about how agonizing the quest was, and I'm thinking to myself, "Hmmm... I DETEST quests... how in the world did I manage THAT one?" I can't even do the simplest of quests without screaming...

Well, I think we can ALL agree VMK's target audience has changed over the year.

And if they are going to make everything available for all, I am very excited to see the lowered green car scores so I can get mine. (nope, dont think this should be done, but it shows the error in the "all for all" debate).

And yes, it was brutal. And I don't think it should SUDDENLY be easy to get. Make it available again, fine. However, in the SAME way as before.



I think you misunderstood me. I do not want ppl to "suffer." I want the method to obtain the item to remain the same as last time around. And again, if it's a "kids game," I eagerly await the green car requirements to be such that every kid can get theirs.

All I am asking VMK to do is be consistent, if they must re-release 1 of the hardest quest prizes ever.



Because that would be GROSSLY unfair to those who worked for hours to earn it last time around. Make it available to everyone, yes. But in a way that is fair to those of us who worked REALLY hard for it last time around.

I have the baseball hat also rurple 1 and personally release it in stores for 1k credits It don't effect me even tho I traded alot for it im not a selfish person and would like to see players like me who cant get 6k-8k on fireworks for a green car magic and it sadenss me vmk raised it from the first amount since most of the people with those scores make the high score boards so it seems like to get green car I have to be on the top 10-20 people.

My thoughts exactly. And, the stuff is virtual. It holds no real value. I guess that is why I do not understand all of the cheating, scamming and selfishness in the game.

I never managed to win ANY article of the Rurple outfit... The games were hard and the trivia questions were INSANE.

Not to mention that was the age when the dc Monster was alive and well, 20mins of play and poof you were kicked off... had to log back on and then your timer was off. Plus with all the peeps playing the mini-games they were overloaded and crashing even more. I've never spent so much time doing a single quest as I had with each of those... and you had to play four quests to get the full suit!

Just clarifying that my opinion has nothing at all to do with trade value. I view my purple hat much like many view their green car: a badge of honor from a quest that I worked for HOURS to earn with the aid of a few amazing friends who would not quit until we all got our hats.

I have NO problem with it being re-released. I just think it should be done in the same way it was first released.

And yeah, where IS our surf table?
