New items at ACM

yes this is very true. my mom came over on friday am with a whole bunch of clearanced stuff from walmart scap section, she said they lady told her they were putting martha stuff in.

Yep, Martha has invaded.. mainly inks and some tag assortments @ our walmart.. I found a great 12 x 12 self healing mat... I desperately needed one.. had the 5 kids and DH with me pawing and complaining about everything.. grabbed it because it was only 10.00... came home opened it..and damn it was hers.. blast it... but I had to have one.. my other one had several holes from where DD was trying to set eyelets or punch holes and went right thru my mat!

So I went to ACM today. I was thankful that Martha's stuff is not taking over a whole aisle like Mike's. K&Company was on an endcap, all of it I could live without. I was actually pleased with the paper selection, I saw a lot of new stuff including the newer Basic Grey lines. I do wish they would keep the lines together though. I really wish the cardstock selection was better, 1/2 of the Bazzill was gone, granted it was 4/$1 but still they should have had more in the stock room.

They did have Pooh carts though!!! So next time they are on sale, I'm there!

I was in out ACMoore yesterday. I was so NOT impressed with the "new" scrapbooking section. What a waste of space to put all that Martha stuff in. I'm sure there has got to be better stuff to sell than MS.

I did like some of the new acrylic stamps, Imagin......something. I was chasing kids so I didn't get a good look.
I agree, that Martha stuff is a waste of space. I just don't see why they went that route. My ACM cashier (she loves me) said everyone has been asking for it and I was the second person to say ACM was crazy. Obviously they don't read message boards. And I don't like the fact that the American Crafts brads were nest to it. It seemed squished. The new Jolee's plan-o-gram was nice though. Sadly I got drug away before I absorbed it all, I will look more closely next time.
