Again, I recall that old rumor about the VMK Cards that came with the Pirate Ears you bought from "Pieces of Eight" outside Pirates in DLR.

How much effort does it take to recode items to be a different color?

Basically, I agree with Mouse: I am unimpressed with the costume items. The furniture looks GORGEOUS, but I am just really tired of VMK rereleasing or making color variants of old outfits.

Again, I am on the record for saying that I highly dislike the original Smee outfit. I know folks disagree with me (which is fine, I don't bite those that disagree with me), but I don't understand how people want to dress up like Smee...

If VMK had created a good Captain Hook outfit, I would TOTALLY pull a 180 and quit the VMK naysaying. But seriously? Another outfit variant?

I agree with you, if they released Captain Hook outfit or the rest of the Peter Pan outfit it would be much better, why are they recoloring the items, I guess in Peter Pan the pirates have different colored tops so why not change the colors and patterns and name it Pirate Top? My make-shift Peter Pan costume is just not doing the trick right now, I want Green Tights in VMK!
However, I have no problems with the other items just the Smee shirt bugs me a little. I would actually prefer if the girls got a Tinkerbell outfit instead of us boys getting a Where's Wally T-Shirt

Trust me I'm in the middle of coding my own game in C++ and C#

Complicated work I don't know how complicated vmk is but it can't be easy with all the bugs.

Wow they revealed the new items very early today, I'm not terribly impressed
either but I'm sure I could use some of those moving water carpets! They
looked great on the ride a thon! The dog with the key is amazing also @_@

Go find a program and code in all these items yourself

I'm sure it took vmk a while to make all these items and code them into the game correctly if you can do it then cool but if you can't then don't throw stones in a glass house.

I do not mean this hatefully at all or in any way to get back at you for your being rude to me, but I looked at your profile....you are 14, these are professionals that have gone to school and make a living at doing this. This what they do all day long and have been doing for many years (school plus career). I am sure it is not as difficult of a task for them as you might think.

I sincerely hope that girls can wear that scarf. I love it. Although, it would have been cuter with ears.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the Smee outfits either. They're OK. But nothing exciting. Hook or Pan would have been much cooler.

Otherwise, love the new stuff.

I think it is a wrap up. Spring has came, so we are swashbuckling into spring currently, while devoting a month to pirates.

Love the Scarf although I wish it had ears like the Disney Park Merchandise and there was one for girls. The dog is adorable!! The Water Carpet is awesome. I would like the blue carpet I've seen in Host Rooms. Cool stuff
